"What are you thinking about Tai?" Takevu asked as they entered another room.
"Don't tell me that you believe them" Hiroshi said between clenched teeth. "They're Garon's children, who knows what they could be planning"
"Hiroshi could you stop being so mistrustful for one time?" Takevu snarled "Didn't you see the fear in their eyes? They are genuinely scared of him"
"I believe that I have every right to be wary of Garon and his descendants" He replied "Especially considering he is the one who took our father away"
The room became silent when those words came out of his mouth.
"What do you think brother?" Haru asked the oldest.
"I understand your concerns Hiroshi but Takevu is right" He started "They don't represent a real threat to any of us, and besides, they could be our allies"
"Allies!?" The other three exclaimed.
"Think about it, they know Yami, including the castle" He explained "They could help us a lot during the war"
"So, are they staying?"
The royals went back to the central area to announce their decision.
"Prince Haki" Tai stated "You and your siblings will be allowed to stay here in the camp, although with surveillance, the only condition is that you help us defeat King Garon"
"Thank you so much your Highness" Haki replied as he bowed his head "You have my entire gratitude"
The royals were still a little unsure of having the children of their worst enemy in their camp but their worries were quickly banished when they realized that the only thing they had in common with their father was that they shared blood.
At first they didn't interact a lot with the other royals, reserving it to the meetings and the few times they found them wandering around the camp, they just weren't comfortable with them, still, they could see how different they were from their father, and it made them wonder if all the people in Yami were as bad as they believed.
Eventually the Genzo royals started spending more time with the ones from Yami, getting to know each other, creating strategies or just spending time together, they started to create a solid bond, even to the point where they no longer felt the need to use the terms "Prince" and "Princess".
Being the future ruler, Tai didn't have a lot of free time, when he did though, there were some activities he liked to do, one of his favorites was stargazing, it was something that he used to do with Safiya and their parents, after the Saigai Night, he did it as a way of remembering the family he lost and hoping to see them again.
