They had to sit down and rest before they were able to continue, Haki looked behind him and saw the palace, which was now a small shape in the distance, he wished they didn't have to leave, but they would be killed if they stayed any longer.

"Haki?" He glanced towards his sister "Do you think we'll be able to come back to Yami?"

"Honestly" He replied while looking at the castle "I don't know..."

They were preparing to start running again when suddenly a large number of soldiers surrounded them and captured them.

When the sun had risen up, the soldiers had already arrived at their destiny, it was a camp, but not any type, a military camp, why was it here?

They were taken to the central area, Haki was very weak from the loss of blood but even in his condition he was able to hear the soldiers say "Call your Highness", when he raised his head, his heart sank when he realized who the camp belonged to.

The royals of Genzo.

When Tai was called to meet someone, he had expected a lot of people, but he never thought that the royal family of Yami would be on his territory, what were they doing here?

Everyone stayed silent for a moment, no one could believe that this encounter could ever happen but here they were.

Eventually Tai was the first one to speak.

"What are you doing on my land?" He asked with a cold and firm voice.

"W-We were running away from Yami" Haki replied without looking at him in the eye, Prince Tai was really intimidating.

"Pfft, why would we believe you?" Hiroshi's tone was the same as his brother.

"Please your Highness, we aren't here to fight, we only want to escape from the king" Kumi answered desperately.

"...why do you want to escape?" This time Takevu was the one who spoke.

"Our father tried to hurt me but Haki protected me and received the attack, we had to get away before he killed us" Roman responded while glancing at the future king.

"Prince Tai, please spare my siblings, you can do whatever you want to me, but please don't hurt them, they haven't done anything wrong" Haki begged between short breaths.

The cold stares of the royals were replaced by surprise, not by Garon's actions, they didn't expect him to spare his own children, but rather by the young prince's words.

They had always thought that all the people from Yami were like their king, cruel, insane and selfish, but none other than the crown prince was here, willing to sacrifice his life so that his siblings could live, something that any of them would do in his situation.

"Brother" Haru started "They're telling the truth, the prince is gravely wounded, only a weapon can make such damage"

She was right, it was a mortal injury that would kill him if it wasn't treated, it couldn't be a plan from Garon, the prince wouldn't do something so dangerous.

"*Sigh*, Haru" Their eyes locked "Go ahead"

She gave him a small nod and started cleaning Haki's wound.

"Thank you" He said as she healed him.

Haru stared at him for a moment before answering "You're welcome" with a small smile.

"Guys, I need to talk with you in private" The future king said while glancing towards his family.
