Night arrived and after ending their duties, the twins decided to sit down and talk about everything they had lived for the past 15 years.

"How were you able to escape from the guards?" Tai asked.

Safiya looked outside the window before answering "I didn't, after they kidnapped me, I was locked in a castle, but an earthquake made the structure collapse and I was able to escape"

"My turn" She said "How did you met your siblings?"

"Takevu is father's second wife daughter, the next year Hiroshi arrived and another year later we were introduced to Haru"

"You said dad had a third wife but what happened to Takevu's mother?"

"She had a terminal illness which ended taking her life, not long after, dad married again"

It was his turn to ask "So, if uncle hadn't seen you before, how did he knew you were his niece?"

"The same way you recognized me, when we were born, mom sent him a letter sharing the news, she told him that we both had birthmarks in the shape of a sun on our necks, uncle saw this which, along our similarities to mother, made him realize who I was and took me in"

She looked at him "You know, it's surprising to see royals from Yami in the camp, how did that happen?"

"They were running away from their father but now they're helping us end this war"

"Something is really nagging me thought..."He continued

"What is it?"

"Why were you trying to slash Haki in two?"

"Pfft, is that really your worry?"

Despite being separated for 15 years, their relationship quickly regained the strength it once had, anyone who didn't know the story would think that they had always been together and that they had a bond everyone would be jealous of, but no one is perfect and they're not the exception, especially with Tai's habit of hiding things and Safiya's insecurity about herself.
