The "Shadow Queen"

Luke's POV

Chiron held me back from running in and helping her. "Chiron I swear to the gods. Let me!" I struggled. I stopped once a crying Hazel struggled to get a screaming and yelling Nico from the cabin. Will stumbled out.
       "Hazel! Let me go!! She's still in there!" Nico cried. Fuck no. I struggled more and started crying. Percy was using his abilities to put the fire out.
     Once Chirons attention was pulled I ran. Right into and threw the fire. She laid right where the entrance to the hallway was. She was covered in smoldering wood. I ran down and tried to lift the burning hot wood. "Raphael love can you hear me." I shouted over the crackling and my sobs. Someone ran in behind me and helped me lift it. Nico.
On the count of three we lifted the debris off on of her and I slid her out. I couldn't tell if she was breathing or not. The smoke was filling the air. Nico grabbed hold of our shoulders and we shadow traveled out.

Raphaels POV

The bright sun took some getting used to as I reopened my eyes. I was in the infirmary and my mind immediately went to Hazel, Will, and Nico. We're they okay? Did they make it? Who saved me? Probably Luke.
I looked around. That's when I felt the touch of someone's hand on mine. I turned right and my hand was holding Luke's tightly. He was either sleeping or comatose or something. Pray to gods he is okay. No one was in the same room besides him. I rubbed slow circles on the outside of his hand, just like he did to me whilst I slept.
I put my hand on the railing of the cot to sit up. I yelped in pain. I didn't realize my hands were wrapped in medical shit. I must've burned them. A wave of nausea hit over me and my head collapsed on the bed.
The barrier slid open. I shut my eyes. Oof even that hurt. There were two sets of footsteps. "When do you think she'll wake up? She's been out for days Will." It was Nico.
Someone placed a hand on my thigh and I flinched a bit and tightened my muscles. "I think she is. Raphael can you hear me?" Will brought a hand up to my cheek. "Loyalty." I mumbled. What the hell why was I telling them this! "Pardon?" I slowly opened my eyes. "L-loyalty. My fatal flaw is loyalty." Nico smiled a big smile and hugged me tightly.
Luke's hand squeezed mine like he was scared. I sat up and turned to him. His nose was scrunched up. He was having a nightmare. I pushed passed Wills protests and climbed onto Luke's chest. One hand in his still and one avoiding being touched since it was burned.
His nose unscrunched and he mumbled something only I could hear. Thank the gods for heightened hearing. "Tell then I'm awake I kill you." I dug closer into his chest and put my head on the crook of his neck. "Anything for you Love." I whispered in his ear.
He tilted his head gently on mine and I smiled. I turned back to Will and Nico. "Get rest Raph. Watch the hand. Seriously third degree burns hurt like hell. Also when pretty boy is manageable and actually tells us he's awake; cause he is. Tell him that Chiron is pissed with him." Luke flicked them off. I kissed him.
"Love you to buddy." Nico said dragging Will out. They closed the barriers and Luke opened his eyes groggily. "What did you do this time Castellan." He blushed. "I might've disobeyed Chiron.... but it wasn't my fault!! He wouldn't let me help you. I thought I lost you Raphael. I lost someone once.. I don't plan on doing it again. When I saw Nico come out with Hazel and Will. He was trying his hardest not to kill Hazel to go back in. I couldn't lose anybody else again." He held me tighter.
"What do you me-?" Hazel burst through the border things. "Oh my god thank all that's holy you two are all right!" She yelled hugging us both. "I bet you NICO sent you in to ruin the moment."
"YOU HAVE NO PROOF!" Nico yelled from the other room. I rolled my eyes. I hugged her back. I let go and rubbed my eyes. I yawned and Luke gently laid me back down on his chest.
"Get rest girl. You need it. Third degree burns won't heel themselves. I'll wake you two up for dinner." She waved by. "Bye Haze." I looked up at Luke. He looked down at me. I kissed the tip of his nose and closed my eyes. He gently rubbed my hair and my back as I drifted off.
