I nodded my head vigorously. I pressed his lips to mine. He smiled at me as we continued to kiss each other. He pulled back first. I was very out of breathe and he was just slightly panting. A loud pounding on the bathroom door startled us out of our little heaven. "I gotta go Mrs. Castellan. I'll see you in two." He kissed me again and disappeared with a pop. He used that weird teleportation ball that I absolutely hate.
I looked at the hair brush that I had just pulled from the drawer. There was hair scattered in it. I hopped down off the counter and walked into my bedroom. Nico just stood dazed. I sat down on the bed and brushed my hair more. I saw a small chunk of hair fall onto my lap and got irritated. "Raphael stop brushing. It's going to make it worse." Will came over and took the brush from me. I laid back and a tear fell down my cheek. Wait! I got an idea! "Hey Nico? Where are your hair clippers?"

The Next Day

I stood in front of my mirror. I looked so different. But that's what cancer does to you. I slipped my hoodie that I'm "borrowing" from Luke on my body. Me being me, AKA short it came down to my thighs and covered my arms completely. I felt like a blowfish. My phone went off from next to me.

"I'll be there in ten Love."

"Okay Babe. Oh I also have a surprise for you. I don't know if you'll like it.... but I sort of do."

"I'm sure I'll love it. Now I cannot drive with a phone in one hand. I'll see you in five my Love." He hung up.

I ran my fingers through my short hair. I absolutely loved it. It would keep me cool in the summer, if I lived that long. Christmas was tomorrow and I have yet to get something for Luke. I gathered my bags and walked out of my room. Nico was sitting with Will on the couch watching Tv. I set my bags on the floor. I grabbed my pills from the counter and took one. I swallowed it. So I ended up coughing a bit. Which ended in two worried glances from the residing gay couple on the couch.
"I'm... fine.." I said still coughing. I grabbed a bottle of water and took a sip. It helped. "Keep drinking it Raph. It helps. Now I think you're 'fiancé' is ringing you're phone." Nico pointed to my vibrating phone on the table. I answered it.

"I'm here Love."

"Okay. Let me say my goodbyes and all that and I'll be there."

I hung up and put the phone in my pocket. I took another swig of water. Nico came over and hugged me. I hugged him back lightly. Knowing full well I'll need all the energy for the shadow traveling back. He ran a hand through my hair. "I could've done better." He muttered to himself. I rolled my eyes and hugged Will. "Stay safe Raph." I came down off my tippy toes and readjusted my bags. "See you soon?" Nico asked. "I don't know. Maybe... we'll see."
I put my hood up and I stepped into a shadow and closed my eyes. I landed on the soft mushy wet ground. On my ass too. Luke quickly helped me up. I scrunched my hoodie so he wouldn't see my hair. "Hey Baby." I kissed him. He kissed back. I missed him so much!! "Hey Love.... what's up with the hood?" I giggled. "That's the surprise." He raised a brow. "What did you do?" He asked trying not to laugh. I blushed. "That's the surprise." I shadow traveled into the passenger seat. I leaned my head on the back of the seat to settle myself. That's enough traveling for the day.
Luke put my bags in the backseat and sat down next to me. He started the car. "Love... take a nap. It's is a half an hour car ride anyways. I can see how tired you are." I yawned as if on cue. "I'm not tired." I said, before yawning again. "Love..." I rolled my eyes. "Fine. But no peeking." He giggled and held my hand. He rubbed slow circles on the back and I slowly fell asleep.
