Five Senses

Raphael's POV                          Seven Days Later

    Ive laid on the couch for a week. I haven't moved, eaten or spoken to anyone. But today I was determined to get over the fact that I'm now single- again- and do something. Since it was only four a.m. and I was tired of getting nightmares. I slipped my jacket on and climbed up the porch deck slowly and carefully and sat down on the roof.
      I gazed at the sun. I had previously called Luke that night to see if he had anything to say.

     "Love. Baby. I didn't kiss her. She kissed me.  I tried to push her away. Love please I'm not lying. I promise. Have I ever broken a promise to you?"

"Three."

"Which would that be Love?"

"That you would never leave me. Or touch me without permission. Or that you would love me forever and always."

"Love I still do love yo-."

Tears rolled down my face as I thought about the events that happened about three hours previously. My phone started to buzz in my pocket.

From Nico; ?????

To Nico; ☝🏼

From Nico; 👍🏻

A second later Nico appeared next to me. He wrapped an arm around my waist and kissed my head. "What're you thinking about Raph?" I just sighed. "Luke. What if he was telling the truth and me being me just can't tell? What if he didn't kiss Milo? What if I was just blocking the truth out or some shit?"
He rubbed my back. "I'm not stopping you from making your own decisions. But if that is what you feel is right then jump. But if you're not 100% positive that he didn't kiss her, I wouldn't jump for it. Do you get wha-." He turned to me and smiled. I had my head on his shoulder and was already half asleep. He picked me up and we shadowed back inside and he laid me on the couch.

Something soft was engulfing me. My head was propped up against something solid and mobile, and my legs were propped up. My breathing increased, I didn't know who it was. Suddenly my body became warm and I just seemed to melt. I faded back into sleep.

   
                "Did she wake up yet?"

    "Yeah. But she panicked and I made her warmer. She seemed to just ease back into sleep from there." Will hummed in response.

   "Leo you didn't have to do anything? You know that right?"

      "Yeah. But she wouldn't sleep unless she was really hot so I'm like the Gordon Ramsey in that department." I tried not to laugh. I didn't want to alert them that I was awake yet. 

   My foot became super itchy and I tensed up my leg trying to make it go away. "Good morning Little Bird..." I slowly opened my eyes to stair at the man holding me. "Hi Lava-Girl." I groaned. He rolled his eyes. "How do you feel?" I shrugged. Will came back in the room and saw I was up and smiled. "Good morning Raphael. Breakfast is in fifteen minutes if you wanna join?" I shrugged.
       "You're going to have to talk at some point Babygirl." Will handed me a bottle of water and I sipped it. I just shrugged. Leo carefully laid me on the couch and scooted off it. "I should get going. Get ready for breakfast. Nice to see you again Raphael. Even if it's for these unfortunate circumstances." I nodded.

     He waved bye. "Raphael how do you really feel right now?" I closed my eye and gently squeezed the bottle of water to calm myself. "Suicidal. Worthless. Loveless. Anxious. Unloveable. Fat. Ugly. Unneeded." Will sat down across from me. He took my hands and kissed them. "You are none of those things. You hear me? Now let's go bitchy boo. I'm hungry." He pulled me up off the couch and I smiled a bit.
      We walked outside and I immediately felt like an outcast. I got odd stares and nervous or angry glances. Or even people staring at me and gawking. I cling to Will. Even though he was like seven inches taller than me. I sat down at my respected table and Will went to his. Nico walked over and sat down across from me. "Don't mind them okay?" I nodded vigorously. The food appeared in front of us and they all made they're sacrifices. I didn't know if I should or not. Hence I don't know what side of the war I'm on.

     "Are you going to throw something in?" Nico asked. "I don't know. I'm not sure what side of the war I'm on anyways." He raised an eyebrow and nodded. I just moved my food around eventually taking a bite every now and then, to satisfy Nico. "I'm full. Can I go back to the cabin now?" I asked feeling my anxiety start to spike as I fiddled with my jeans. I was being stared at like a fucking caged animal, I couldn't deal with it anymore. "Do you want me or Will to come too?" I took deep breathes. "I just want to stop being stared at like a caged animal." I said starting to shake.
       Nico nodded. He turned around to face everyone else and yelled at them. He stood up and we walked back to the cabin together. Nico places a hand in mind and squeezed. "Say you're five senses Raph. It'll help. Say what you can feel, taste, hear, see, and touch okay?" I nodded he set me down on the couch and I do what he said to calm my racing heart.

                      Feel; Nico's hands.

            Smell; Pine and Vanilla cologne

         Taste; lemon water from breakfast

             Hear; creaking floorboards

                              See; Luke.

    I closed my eyes and squeezed them shut and reopened them and he was still behind Nico. I regained my breathing as the intoxicating smell of vanilla pine filled my senses and made me feel at home. "I know you probably don't want him here but I couldn't see you in pain anymore Raph." Nico rubbed my cheek. He held my hand and left the room. "H-H-Hey." I sniffled and fiddled with my thumbs.
He squated in front of me after scooting the table out of the way. "Love. You probably don't care what I have to say. But I didn't-." I smashed my lips against his.

His soft lips danced in a line with mine. I ran my hands threw his dirty blonde hair. Clinging to him like I would lose him forever. He ran his hands up my back. He broke the kiss for air. He leaned his forehead against mine. "I'm so sorry I didn't come sooner Love." I shushed him. "Just kiss me." So that's what we did. We kissed and kissed. "God damn I leave you two alone for literally ten minutes and she's ready to suck a dick!" I couldn't help but laugh. Luke put his head on my shoulder and I turned to face Nico. Thank you. I signed to him. He nodded his head.
I clung to Luke's stomach for dear life. I missed him so much. Suddenly I started getting cramps, really badly. I curled in a bit. He rubbed my back softly. "Love are you alright?" He asked. "Yes. I wasn't before. But now I am. I have my world back." I whispered. He picked my head up to face his. He smushed our lips together again. "I'm sorry I missed you're birthday yesterday." Nico gasped. "You're birthday was yesterday and you didn't bother to tell anyone?!" I rolled my eyes. "I don't bother celebrating. A day just to celebrate the day you were given birth is stupid. Especially when you haven't seen your mom since you were six. Plus when you're dad is the god of being emo there's not really a point."

    Luke tried not to laugh. I rolled my eyes and continued to cuddle into his chest. "That's it i'm throwing you a party." Nico left the cabin, despite my protests. I huffed and just closed my eyes. "Babygirl how much have you been sleeping?" I shrugged. "Babygirl. You need sleep. The bags under your eyes give it away." He rubbed my cheek. "I'm fine.." he raised his eyebrow. I rolled my eyes. "So we're okay then..... relationship wise?" Luke asked me. I shrugged. "Can you promise me 100% that she kissed you and not the other way around?" He nodded.
     "Can you show me evidence. Cause I know you have cameras by your desk to make sure no one steals anything." He nodded. "Can you promise me something Love?" I looked up at him. "Can you promise me you won't run away from anything without getting an explanation from it?" I shook my head. He laughed. "Well you can at least try. Now, do you wanna go home. Or do you want to stay here?" I shrugged.
         I don't know what to do. I just want to stay cuddled into him forever. Luke picked me up and set us on the couch. He rubbed my back and played with my hair until I started to fall asleep. "Where's you're room Love. We can go lay in there." I muttered where it was. He opened the door and we laid down on the bed.
I let my wings out. I wrapped them around us and I drifted asleep. "Are you gonna be here when I wake up?" I groggily asked. "Anything for you Love. I'll be here. I promise."

A/N: Hey Lovelies.... so. Sorry for the short chapter, but I wanted to get this note in. So next Monday I'm starting school, AKA I won't be uploading as much. But I of course will still write. As most of you readers know, I HAVE NO WRITING SCHEDULE.
