Raphaels POV

I rolled my eyes and headed for the door. "Hey wait. I'm trying to talk to you here," she said. "I don't want to be here in the first place. So I don't care if you wanna talk. I literally just want to be left alone. By sweetie," I said waving.
"Raphael! Please just hear me out," Luke said walking back into the main area. Of course he was still here. "Ugh. You have twenty minutes. I'm counting. I have one condition though..." he nodded his head. "I want no questions asked about the collars or whats being hidden behind them." Hazel blushed. Luke just nodded his head. I let my wings out. Hazel seemed confused but just shook it off.
I sat down on the floor. Luke sat on the couch next to Hazel. It took him exactly 18 minutes and 43 seconds to explain the prophecy and shit. I relatively didn't care. I didn't dare tell him I still had my earbuds in.
"Are you gonna say something Raph?" He asked. I shrugged my shoulders and stood up.
I opened the door to the cabin. I walked out. There was Nico guy again. I rolled my eyes and walked passed him. "Raphael, where you going girl?" He asked. "Back to my house. Got a problem with that?" Luke ran down behind me.
"Raphael! Don't leave." I turned around. I was getting pissed off now. I took my phone and turned it up all the way. I continued to walk up the hill. I walked up passed a really tall pine tree. I started to get really dizzy. I could still tell people were walking up behind me. Maybe they could catch me, when I pushed out.
My vision started to go funny. I couldn't hold my wings in anymore. I fell on my side as the pain in my head started to get worse.
Luke bent over me. He tried to pick me up. He stumbled, my wings did triple my body mass. "Tuck your wings in love. I can't carry you otherwise." I tucked them in. He picked me up and carried towards a building I'm assuming is the infirmary. He pushed the door open and ran towards the back room. There was a blonde kid doing things back there. I was going in and out now. I have no idea why. "I can't hold my wings in anymore." I said. He laid me down on the bed. I let my wings spread out behind me.
I closed my eyes. I could feel myself passing out. Someone touched my wings. I jotted awake. No one touches my wings, I'll kill them if they do. I moved my hand so I was sitting up. "Take it easy Raphael. Take it easy," the blond kid said. I rolled my eyes. "I'm fine. No one touches my wings. No one," I said tucking my wings in again. I heard my flannel rip. I flipped my legs around and stood up.
"Raph-." "No. I want to leave. I want to leave and not come back. I want to go back to my life that was relatively normal. Forget all of this exists. I don't want wings and I don't want to be a Demi-god!" I yelled walking out.
I walked down back into the cabin I was in. I flung the door open. Hazel and Nico were watching Spongebob. I rolled my eyes and walked down to the bedroom I was in before. I slammed the door behind me. I grabbed my duffle. I crumpled on the bed. After fifteen minutes, someone knocked. "Go away!" I yelled. Nico walked in and sat on the bed. "Hey. I know how you feel. I don't want this life either. But it's not what we choose. It's what we do that makes a difference. You'll except this life sooner or later," he said. I internally rolled my eyes.
Nico sounded like a decent guy. "I don't want to be a daughter of some god or goddess. I don't want to have wings. I just want to go back to when I wasn't forced to stay here." I rolled over so I wasn't facing the pillow. "Wait you have wings? That's cool." I sat up and let my wings expand. "Don't touch. There really delicate. I can't get them wet either. They'll sprinkle and crack, then the feathers will fall off," I said.
"What's with the collars?" He asked. "When I was little I was put into a foster family that tied me and cut me, they locked me in there basement. I'm going to assume you want to see what they look like?" I started to undo the collars. I moved my hair so he could see. He reached his hand to see touch them. He recoiled after a second.
"Is that why you always wear long sleeved? I noticed your closet at your house." H started peeling off the rubber of his converse. I nodded my head. Hazel walked in and sat down next to Nico. "How you feeling Raph?" Hazel asked. I shrugged my shoulders.
Luke knocked on the door. I put a finger to my mouth. They peeped quiet. Luke walked away a couple seconds later. I stood up. I grabbed my duffle. "Can I leave? I really don't want to be here." I begged. Hazel looked at Nico. "At least stay for dinner maybe even the game afterwards? So we can at least know what your godly parent is," Hazel said.
I sighed. "Fine. I go to this dinner thing and go to the game and then I can leave. Deal deal." Nico smirked. Hazel nodded successfully. The dinner bell rang. Hazel ushered me towards the door. "Oop. Might want to put your wings away. Maybe put your collars on too." I clicked my collars back on and tried to tuck my wings in. I faltered backwards. I guess I don't have enough strength to do it yet. Hazel helped me balance. "I'll just not tuck them in. I'll be fine." I opened the door and stepped out.
I was really regretting even going to school today. I walked over to the front door. I hesitated. "I can't do this." I tried to turn back and go back to the little room Nico stopped me. "Nope. Let's go sis," he turned me around and I opened the door. Campers from all around were walking towards a mess hall type thing. I walked behind Hazel and Nico, since my wings wouldve hit them in the face.
They walked towards a table. I sat down next to them. Eyes were looking at us, it didn't bother me though. I was used to it. "How do you handle people not staring at you?" Hazel asked. "I've been dealing with it for 14 years. Nothing new," I said practically falling out of my seat as food appeared in front of us. Nico laughed. "It does that." I have him a "no shit Sherlock" look. I picked at the food in front of me. I didn't really eat, especially not when people can see me.
Luke walked up next to me. "Your technically not supposed to be sitting here. Your supposed to be sitting with the Hermes table," he said crossing his arms. I rolled my eyes and started to eat. Just to block him out. "Say something?" He asked. I dropped my fork. "What do you expect me to say. This is the most I've talked to anybody since I was eight. So go sit down or some shit Luke, cause I dont plan on starting now." He walked away.
I pushed my food out from me. "I'm not even hungry. I'll be back in the cabin place thing," I said getting up. I fixed my hat. I walked back to the cabin. I laid down on the bed. My wings folding out behind me.
Someone knocked. I through a shoe at the door. "Go away!" I yelled. The door opened again.
"I can take you back if you want. But you can't go back to the same family. They already reported you missing," Hazel said. "I don't know you. Now go away." The bed tilted, she sat down. "You don't have to know me. Just spend a couple of days here. You'll see how much things here aren't actually that bad. Trust me on this," Hazel said. My wings fluttered. "Please just leave me alone Hazel. I just want to listen to music and sleep." Hazel put a hand on my leg. "Anything you need. I'll send Nico in, maybe two hours." That said she got up and left. I plugged my earbuds in and out my musicals on. Hamilton was up first, about time!
I closed my eyes. I tucked my wings in and started to drift off to sleep. It felt like five minutes had gone by when Nico sat down on the bed. He didn't know I was up yet so he didn't say anything. I paused my music and pretended to sleep. He pulled my shoes off along with my hat. He didn't dare touch my collars though. He was smart. He kissed my forehead and left.
I started to drift off again. This time it wasn't so peaceful though. The dark ominous voice was calling for me to join him and the others. He was threatening to kill all I love. I clenched down and started to cry. He was screaming at me, I woke up with a start. Nico was sitting on the bed, next to the blondie from the infirmary. "Breathe Raphael breathe," Hazel cooed. She held my hands as I started to cry. I haven't cried since I was little, when I still got abused.
I put my head in her lap. She rubbed my hair as I cried. "Will you can go. I got it." She said. He stood up and left. "On the bright side. I figured out who your godly parent is."

"Welcome to Cabin 13, Hades kids welcome you."
