My soul leaves my body
As I see his soul leave
The screams around me
Paralyzes my thinking
My legs cannot move
I stay rooted
As his body bleeds
And people evacuate the streets
How could they just shoot
With the intention to kill
Another innocent soul?
Don't they have feelings?
I am traumatized
People around me is scarred
That bloody spot on the concrete
Forever placed in my heart
His cry for help tore me apart
I couldn't help and I couldn't even try
It wasn't his time
I couldn't say goodbye
