"My name is Tokyo..."
Hello dear readers,
You might be here because you're looking for a La Casa De Papel story, or you just found this book randomly and decided to check it out. No matter the reasons, you're all welcome.
First of all, this story constitutes a prequel to the action in La Casa De Papel (Money Heist), so it's an easy read for anyone, even for those who aren't familiar with the characters as it's just about the main character, Tokyo (Silene Oliveira) and her life before the heist in La Casa De Papel. Some La Casa De Papel characters are having very short cameos, but nothing affects the original plot line in the series. This book is the product of hours of studying the series and the main character, Tokyo, and it aims to remain as true as possible with the original series that's based on.
When I started writing Tokyo, it was the summer of 2020, a few months after I watched season 4 of Money Heist. So, some things from this story might not completely fit with what happens in Season 5 that's going to be out on September 3rd this year. But, I hope you'll still enjoy it.
This book was started out of a crazy idea — to demonstrate some people that aren't such fans of Tokyo in La Casa De Papel, that despite the appearances she's quite an agreeable character that sometimes feels too much and takes decisions based on impulses. But, what's more human than this?
In conclusion, I hope you'll enjoy this story, whether you're a new reader or a die hard La Casa De Papel fan, as it was written to be understood by both categories. Feel free to PM me or comment about anything in this book. I'm here to offer you information and, why not, talk about the story. Your feedback (positive or not) makes me want to keep going, so thank you in advance for taking the time to leave a few lines after reading.
I hope you'll have a good time reading this story, and, if you liked it feel free to check out my other books too.Thank you,
ÚrsulaCorberó89Some warnings, notes and observations
1. This story is rated Mature for a reason. There's going to be some action scenes (since the main genre is action) that will contain violence, besides those you'll also find these themes: depression, mental abuse, sex, rape (only in one chapter that I'll mention in the beginning), PTSD, swearings.
I'll try to keep the sex scenes at a medium level, so there won't be too explicit. But, feel yourself warned for the rest.2. I do not use double space in my writings as I find it really inappropriate for a book. You'll only find double space when a time lapse will occur in the story. No, this is not a normal thing to do, as some people have previously told me. Just check it out yourself in any physical book or ebook you can find.
I know most of you are complaining about this because you cannot comment inline, but here's the solution. To comment inline on any part of the text, just press on any word like you want to select it and a small menu bar will appear. Then, you'll see the comment option from where you can press and start writing your comment. This method is very useful with any book as the author will see exactly on which line you wanted to comment.3. Besides the characters credits that goes to Netflix and their respective creators, this books is solely my work. No one can reproduce any part of it without permission.
4. I started working on this story in July 2020 and when I'm writing this note (August 2021) there's no Season 5 of La Casa De Papel. For those who've seen the trailer, like me, you know that there are going to be flashbacks from Tokyo's past. Those moments might not fit with this story, as it was written way before even having the confirmation for Season 5. Also, the name of Tokyo's boyfriend and some other characters names like Berlin's son, aren't surely fitting with the names in Season 5 and I'm not planning to change them after the episodes will come out. So, after watching the final season of La Casa De Papel, some details in this book might be inaccurate, but, please keep in mind that it was written way before it.
5. Although, having watched La Casa De Papel (Money Heist) isn't a must, but it's highly recommended to see at least a few episodes of it. If you're a fan of making connections you might enjoy this book even more, as there are subtle hints and things that connect this story with the original action in the series. But, this is completely optional, and more for those who want to enjoy this book at its fullest.
6. This book is solely published on Wattpad. If you're reading this outside Wattpad it means that this work has been stolen.
