Den's POV
Chen is at home right now. I left because his mother asked me to come and meet her secretly.
"You're here. Di ko na patatagalin 'to, break up with Chen. Leave him." She started once I sat down across her.
"I can't. I love him." I said.
"What can you give my son? You don't have anything. You can't even feed him a food from a five star restaurant. This is not the life he used to live."
"Yes, for now I can't buy him expensive things. But I promise. Once I finish college, I'll make it up to him."
"I don't need your promises. Just break up with him. I don't care about you, I care about my son." She said then spilled the water on my face.
I know ang baduy, but yes, she really did that. I won't fight back since she's still the mother of the man that I love.
"Hey, what's going on here?" A guy asked.
"Stay out of this. It's our own business." Chen's mother said.
"Then fucking stay out of my restaurant. You're making a scene, you want me to sue you?" He sternly said.
I looked up at him and saw that it's Aly. He's mad.
"A-Aly?" Chen's mother said.
She then stood up and left. Aly then sat across me and gave me a hanky. I accepted it and wipe the water in my face.
"I think I saw you before?"
"I work at A's coffee shop." I said.
"Are you stalking me?" He asked.
"No, why would I? I don't have time stalking someone. Besides, I have a boyfriend." I answered.
He then whispered something but I didn't hear it. I just let it slide.
"I need to go now, sorry for making a scene. Thank you for the handkerchief. I'll return this to you once it's clean." I said
"No, you keep that." He said.
I nodded then walked out of his restaurant. I decided to walk back home because I need fresh air.
