Den's POV

I consulted Aly about the proposal that Mrs. Ho sent. He said it's fine. The final decision is in my hands since I'm the President but I should be reasonable too.

"So, what do you think?" I ask Aly who's now signing some papers while we're still on face time.

"Den, you already know my answer but still, the final say is on you."

"I want to reject them."

"Because?"

"I don't know, maybe because they stole someone's work."

"Are you sure this is still pure business or are you plotting some revenge? You can always tell me, in one snap of a finger, they can go bankrupt and about that someone's work, she or he should do something about it." Aly said.

"Of course not. Anyway, I hope she'll do something about her stolen works." I said.

"Oh yeah. For me, you should still accept their proposal. They've been trying for six times now."

"I think you're right. I can just kick them out if they fail to comply." I said.

I heard Aly laugh.

"Jema, tell them they're already approved." I said when I called Jema on the phone.

The Ho's still don't know that I'm the President of  the mall. I somehow find it funny. They're intrigued every time I reject them.

"I'm still worried." I said.

"Why?" Aly asks.

"You know? About you? Are you okay with this situation?"

"It's not like you're going to see him everyday. Besides, I have trust in you."

"Thank you."

"For?"

"For being so understanding and supportive."

"I love you, Den. Always remember that." He said while looking at me.

I smiled hearing those words from him. We continued our face time kahit pumipirma kami sa mga papel or nagbabasa ng reports, may mga itinatanong din ako sakanya about sa stocks and whatsoever.
