Den's POV

Morning came and I started to do my routines before going out of the room and heading to the dining area to grab a breakfast. They still prepared quite a lot. I started eating.

"Thank you for the food." I said when I'm done eating.

I walk outside of the house and saw the car waiting for me. Kuya Tony opened the door for me then he quickly runs and ride the car. He started driving heading to the company. My office is located in ARVLDZ Group's building. I still don't know which floor.

"Ms. Den, kayo po nagha-handle ng mall?"

"Yes po, Kuya Tony."

"Ah. Si Ma'am Bea po naghandle non dati."

"Oh. Magaling ba si Ms. Bea?" I asked.

Ms. Bea is Aly's Mom. Beatriz Valdez. That's her full name. From what I've heard, Dad never trusted someone to handle the ARVLDZ Malls when Aly's Mom died. It was under Dad's management. I'm happy that he entrusted it to me.

"Sobrang galing, Ma'am. Pero alam ko po na gagawin niyo ang makakaya niyo. Sigurado ako, proud na proud si Ma'am Bea sainyo ni Sir Aly." Kuya Tony said.

I smiled with what he said. I really hope that she's proud of me.

"Have a nice day, Ma'am. Doon lang po ako sa HQ ng mga driver." Kuya Tony said when he opened the car's door for me.

I said thank you before going inside of the building. Everyone's greeting me.

"Good morning, Den. I'm your personal secretary, Jema." The girl wearing her office attire greeted me.

I nod my head on her. Then she asked me to follow her so that we can go to my office.

"Den, each floor has a different department. The cafeteria is located on the first floor. Second floor is a recreation and resting area. Third floor up to sixth floor is where AV Soft is located, Aly's favorite floor. Seventh floor is conference room. Eight to ninth floor is ARVLDZ Foods, te---"

"Stop right there Jema. Are you trying to introduce me each floor?"

"Do you want me to, Den?"

"Hold up, and you're calling me Den?"

"Yes. Sorry but in this company, it's first name basis. We never use Miss, Mister, Ma'am or Sir here. Ruel said that they want a more friendly workplace. Even the stockholders. They agreed on the first name basis."

"I'm really shock right now. In Canada, they're calling me Miss Den."

"Well, in here, it's strictly first name basis. But I can call you Miss Den if we're in your office, do you want that?"

"Ah, no. It will only cause confusion to me. Call me Den. I'll get used to it."

"Alright, Den and here's our floor. 21st floor." She said when the elevator suddenly opened.

"Nasan yung employees?"

"Ah? They're on the 20th floor. This floor is all for you and this is my table." She said while pointing to a long table near the door of my office.

"Call me if you need anything, Den." She said.

I entered the office and closed the door. My eyes roam around. I told Dad not to change anything in this office. I want to see and work where Aly's mom used to work. I want to know her more. I even saw her portrait in here. She's really beautiful. May isa pa akong hiniling kay Dad, ilagay dito sa office yung first photo namin ni Aly, that's when he was finally able to walk again without those crutches and yung family picture namin, yeah Dad hired a photographer back then, and then he said that we should have our family picture. It consist of Dad, Aly and Me. I'm really happy that they hanged it in here.

"I really miss you, Baby." I said while looking at our photo.

I pick up my phone and texted Aly that I'm already at the office. I don't have much to do today since it's my first day and they're expecting me to roam around the building.
