Den's POV

I was sitting on our usual spot here in the University, waiting for Bei and Bang to arrive. I remembered what Aly told me if someone tries to mess with me, I should tell them that I'm a Valdez.

"Hey Den! Did you get a copy of Medical Assessment Form?" Bei asked as he sat down in front of me.

"Oh, yeah. Nasagutan mo na?" I said.

"Not yet. Help me with this one." He said.

"You're really dumb, Aly is right. How did you became his cousin again?" I asked.

"You really want me to tell you?" He laughed.

I shook my head then grabbed the paper and ask him questions.

"What's your blood type?" I asked.

"How would I know my blood type?"

"Yeah?"

"Who am I? Karl Landsteiner? Discoverer of blood groups?" He said.

I want to choke him right now.

"Ah really." I said while massaging my temples.

I really don't know how can I still befriend him. I gave him my Assessment Form and asked him to fill it up for me. He asked questions.

"Are you taking vitamins?"

"Yes."

"Are you smoking? Taking drugs?" He asked again.

"No."

"Headache?"

"I think I'm going to have one."

"Are you pregnant?"

"No! Why would I?!" I shouted at him.

He just laughed at me then continued answering my form.

"When was your last menstrual period?" He asked again.

"Don't answer that!"

"Woah, I guess you're having your period now." He then wrote something on the paper.

It says, right now. What the hell?! Why did he put that? I'm done with my period last week. I heard him laugh so hard that I want to punch him but Bang arrived and stopped us from bickering.

"Wow. I'm really glad that both of you are still alive." Bang started while answering her Assessment Form.

"Oh yeah. I was about to kill this dumbass." I said.

Bang chuckled with what I said while shaking her head and clapping her hands like a fucking seal.

"Hey Den, Aly gave you a ring?" Bang asks while looking at the ring on my finger.

That caught my attention. Aly never gave me one. I looked at my left hand and saw the ring that Chen gave me. Wow, I didn't notice that I'm still wearing this.

"N-no, it's from my ex." I said.

Bei looks at me like he's confuse with what I said.

"Why are you still wearing that? I mean, I'm not going to judge you, but are you perhaps still inlove with your ex?" Bei asks.

"Of course not! I love Aly. I'm done with my ex. It's just that, nasanay lang ako na suot to."

"Wow. That's odd." Bang blurted out.

"I'm worried with my cousin now." Bei said while looking at me.

"Hey, there's no need to be worried about. If Den say she loves Aly, then let's trust her. I'm sure she won't hurt Aly, right Den?" Bang said.

"Of course. I should get rid of this." I said then remove the ring and let it roll on the ground.

"Bye mother fucker." Bei said while waving his hand.

Bang and I chuckled with what he did. We continued messing around until it's time for us to go home. Aly gave me a personal driver and a body guard. But I'm always telling my body guard to don't come closer and if Aly asks him anything about me, just tell him that I'm doing great in school, hanging out with my friends.

Anyway, the drive home is quiet that it made me think about Aly. What does he feel every damn time he holds my hand and saw a ring in there. I never heard him asked about my ring so I forgot about it's whole existence, it's meaning. I just got used to wearing it.  But still, I'm worried about him. Maybe he's dying to ask about the ring and he's just respecting my privacy. Aly never invaded my privacy, aside from my body guard who reports every move that I do. But, aside from that, he never tried to ask me about my phone's password, about my social media accounts. He's not that kind of person. In fact, I'm the one who's reading texts from his phone, checking every activity on his IG. The only social media platform that he's using is IG and Gmail.

I arrived at our home and saw Aly sitting on the sofa while watching netflix. I hugged him from behind and showered kisses on his face.

"You had fun today?"

"Yes. As usual, having your cousin's company is fun. He's really dumb." I said which made Aly chuckle.

I sat on his lap and buried my face on his chest. Today is his day off.

"Aww. My baby." He said while hugging me tightly.

"Ly, who will you choose?"

"What?"

"Wynonna Earp or me."

I heard him chuckle before saying, "Are you serious, Dennise?"

"Just answer me." I pouted.

"Of course. I will choose you. Will you do the same for me?"

"I will choose you Ly, even on our next lifetime. I will always choose you."

He chuckled like a kid while I'm kissing his lips. I lightly slap his arm.

"Bed now, Ly." I said.

He carried me to our bedroom and put me down gently on our bed.

"Are you sure about this?" He asks while looking at me.

"More than sure." I answered.

He started kissing me. This is our first time doing it. Every time we were about to do it, someone always interrupts. But now, I'm sure that it's the perfect time to do it.
