Aly's POV

I know she was shock when she saw sleeping beside her. She hugged me tighter.

"Tell me I'm not dreaming." I said.

She even pinch my cheeks. I wanted to laugh at her but I hummed then wrapped my arms around her.

"Aly, why are you here?"

"Am I not allowed here?"

"No, I mean, paano si Dad?"

"I'm jobless now, will you still marry me, Den?"

"What did you do?"

"I told Dad that I'll resign if he's not going to allow me start our wedding preparations. He didn't say anything so I handed him my resignation letter." I explained.

She showered my face with kisses.

"Parang kagabi magka face time tayo, bakit hindi ko naramdaman na nahiga ka dito? Tsaka kailan ka pa dumating?"

"Napaka himbing kasi ng tulog mo. Kanina lang ako dumating, 3 am I think."

"So, you're really jobless right now?"

"Yeah. Why?"

"Nothing. I love you."

Lies. If you love me, why would you meet your ex behind my back? It really sounds great hearing lies just to stop yourself from hurting.

"You're spacing out again. Are you sick?"

"I love you too, Dennise." I whispered.

She smiled at me and hugged me tighter. She snuggled on the crook of my neck. I will surely miss this. Waking up with the person you love the most.

"Hey guess what, Babe. Since you're jobless, I need to work for us and you need to make sure the house is clean." She jokingly said.

"Babe, we have maids here."

"Say that again."

"What?" I asked.

"Yung sinabi mo kanina."

"Here?"

"No. Bago pa yan."

"We have maids here?"

"Bago pa yan."

"Ah, babe?"

"Yeah. It sounds great hearing it from you."

"Why?"

"You rarely call me Babe, Baby or Hon. Laging Den." She said.

I chuckled. Such a baby. When her phone rang, she showed it to me. It's her alarm clock.

"I better get ready. Be a good boy, you'll have your reward later when I come home." She said then planted soft kisses on my lips.

I pulled her closer and kissed her. She responds and I felt her smiled in between our kisses. Should we really end this? Can we just get married and I'll pretend that it's okay.

"Hey, I'm really worried with you right now." She said when we stop kissing.

"Are you really okay? You know you can go back to Russia, if you're thinking about our wedding, I'll still wait for you." She added while wiping my tears.

Aly, you're so dumb. Why are you crying? Because my heart breaks. I'm really waiting for the right time to ask her.

"I'm okay. I just missed you. You know? Ang tagal rin nating hindi nagka sama." I said, it's not a lie, I missed her, really.

"Aw. My baby. I missed you more. But hey, I really need to prepare. Let's cuddle later, okay? If you're going out, just tell your driver, okay?" She said.

I nodded. I look at my phone. I don't have text messages from my Secretary, dati sa mga oras na 'to, nagtetext na yon or tumatawag na. Hey, nasa Pilipinas ka. It's just 6 am here, for sure 1 am palang sa Russia. Oh, yeah, I forgot. It's true that I resigned. I saw Dad earlier when I came here. If Den and I called off our engagement, I'm planning to travel for the meantime, exploring the wonders of the world while I'm trying to move on. I won't bother her anymore. Then later on, I'll marry Rachel.

Den went out from the walk in closet, the cr is connected to the walk in closet, her hair's still wet, she's wearing her office clothes. She's using the blower right now, I just watch her do her things. She's looking at me using the vanity mirror.

"Jetlagged?" She asks.

"Nope." I hugged the pillow beside me.

She continued fixing her hair, putting some make up. When she stood up to check her clothes, I hugged her from behind then rested my chin on her right shoulder. She touch my cheek.

"Mommy's going home early." She started teasing me.

"I'll miss you."

"Oh, we will cuddle later when I get home."

I smiled then pull away from her. She smiled at me before kissing my lips. I responded to her kisses then when we both needed air, she broke our kiss and bid her goodbye. I decided to just go back to sleep and wait for her to come home.
