Aly's POV
I'm really mad right now. Dad asked me to extend my stay here in Russia. I told Den about it and she said it's fine and she's going to wait for me. Gustong gusto ko na pumunta sa Pilipinas.
"Hey, don't frown." Dennise said.
We're currently on face time.
"I just... Dennise, I want to hug you tight." I said.
She smiled at me before saying, "Me too, I want to hug you right now. I want to shower your face with my kisses. But come on, this is for our future, right?"
"Right." I responded.
"Hey, baby. I need to go to the meeting. I'll talk to you later." She said.
I nodded my head then waved my hand. She chuckled before ending our video call. Den became really busy lately. I'm okay with that, we still find time to talk to each other.

Den's POVI bumped into someone familiar while I'm heading to the conference room.
"Oh, wow. Good to see you here." She said.
"Yeah?" I said.
"So, what are you doing here?" She asked.
"Ah? I work here. Jema, let's go." I said then Jema and I continued walking, leaving the old lady.
"Who's that, Den?"
"Ah? Someone I know from the past." I said.
"Dennise, wait up." The old lady said.
We both stop walking, I turned my head.
"Do you fix things for the Valdez?" She asks.
I smirked, "You can say that. We better get going, nice bumping in to you Mrs. Ho."
We continued walking. Yes, you read it right. That's Chen's mother. Lately they've been trying to setup an appointment with me. They want to open their clothing store in our malls. I'm declining every proposal that they sent, my reason? I don't want some trashy proposal. I'm not against them opening their store in Valdez's Malls, but hey, I want an impressive proposal. I'm not after the profit, iniisip ko lang yung mall. Importante kay Aly at kay Dad yung mall kasi isa yun sa memories nila sa Mom ni Aly. First, they're overpriced, like who the hell would buy expensive shirt if you can buy a shirt at the Dept. Store. Besides, their designs are stolen from someone I know. So? I don't think I should let them.
The meeting started and I sat on my assigned chair. I saw Dad smiling at me. Of course, he's happy because the project already started. I let Aly decide on the design of the mall. He's really specific and detailed, he said he wants 8 floors, yung 8 na floor is for mall, cinema, maintenance room, etc. He also ask to build another building for the mall's parking space and another building for hotel near the mall. He said he wants to maximize the land that we bought and that's not a problem for me.
The meeting ended and Jema said I did great. I thanked her. Jema's been patient with me since day 1, teaching me about the things that I need to know in the company. She's been working in the company for 10 years.
"Den, let's go back to your office now? Or you still need to go somewhere?" Jema asks.
"Oh, yeah. Let's go." I said.
We walk towards my office. I found out that Jema's already married for 5 years. They still don't have a baby because they're still planning, his husband's still on Med School.
"Are you happy being married?" I blurted out.
"Of course, Den. You know, being with the person you love, waking up next to him."
"Do you think Aly still loves me?"
"Why'd you ask? Aly asked you to marry him, right? For sure he loves you."
"Oh. Yeah. Minsan kasi, naiisip ko lang na I'm still not enough for him. He gave me everything but I can't help not to be insecure with the girls who wants to cling on him."
"Hey, don't think like that. Aly loves you genuinely. I was Aly's secretary before you guys decided to move to Calgary."
"Anong mga hilig niyang gawin?"
"You guys are similar in some ways. He's really focused in his work just like you. Masunurin siya kay Ruel." Jema said.
Nagkwento pa siya tungkol kay Aly. I'm listening to everything that she says. Jema told me na si Aly ang nag alok sakanya ng trabaho na maging Secretary niya.
