Den's POV
Today is the day that Chen's leaving. I back hugged him.
"I can't really change your mind?" I asked.
He then turn around and holds my shoulder.
"We already talked about this. We can't be together." He said.
He then load his things in his car. I helped him carry his boxes. I even put label to the boxes para alam niya.
"I guess this is goodbye?" I ask.
"Yes. Stay healthy, okay? Take care of yourself."
"You too." I smiled sadly.
He ride his car and started to drive. As for me? I headed to my job since my shift will start hours later. I skipped school today, it's my last day seeing Chen. For sure pagtataguan niya ako. He asked me na don't go after him, wag ko siyang habulin, wag ko na siyang kausapin hanggang maka move on ako.
"You're early again." A said.
"Yeah, early dismissal." I lied.
Pumunta ako sa locker para magpalit ng uniform. Bago lang to'ng uniform. Noon name plate lang meron kami then apron. Anyway, may mga kasamahan akong nagtatrabaho dito pero magkakaibang shift kami. When I'm done changing my clothes, I look at myself in the mirror then sigh. Everything's going to be okay, Dennise. Chen is just a chapter in your life. I said to myself. I then walk and stood in front of the cashier, asking customer's orders, preparing their orders and then serving.
