Den's POV

I got discharged from the hospital. I continued attending school. The airlines owner shouldered the hospital fees and gave us huge sum of money as a compensation. I'm visiting Aly, everyday. Nothing change. He's still laying in bed, sleeping. It's been a month since the accident but still, no improvement. Anyway, A ask me to stop working for the meantime. He said I should focus first on healing.

"Oh, wala kang pasok?" Yeye.

"Wala." I shortly answered.

I sat beside Aly's bed then hold his right hand.

"Please, wake up now. You've been staying there for a month now. Are you stuck in there? Shall I come and rescue you?"

"What are you saying?" Yeye chuckled.

Naisip ko lang, diba sa movies kaya sila hindi nagigising from coma kasi nasa isang lugar lang sila. Waiting for something. Naguguluhan kung bakit sila nandon, kung paano sila babalik.

"Mmm." A husky voice hummed.

We both look on Aly's direction. He's now looking at me while I'm holding his hand. Yeye quickly called the Doctor then as fast as lightning, 5 Doctors entered and checks Aly. They run some test on Aly while Yeye and I stayed and watch him.

"The tests are normal. There's nothing to worry about." One of the Doctors said.

When the Doctors left, Yeye left too. He said he's going to call Aly's family. Leaving me and Aly alone. I walk near him.

"Are you okay?" He asked.

"Y-yes. Ikaw? Okay ka na ba? May masakit ba sayo?"

"I can't feel my legs." He said then holds both of his legs.

"You want me to call the Doctor again?"

"N-no. Baka epekto lang to ng crash. Can you help me stand up?" He said.

I nodded and help him sat then he tried standing up but he failed, bumagsak kami parehas sa sahig. Luckily, Yeye entered and helped me make Aly sit on his bed.

"I can't walk. Seems like my legs are weak." He said.

"Do you want me to call the Doctor?" Yeye offered.

Aly nodded. Then the Doctor came. He advise that Aly will use wheelchair and crutches until his legs will feel better. He also needs to undergo a therapy. Aly's father came. He hugged Aly tightly.

"Dennise, good to see you here again." His father smiled at me.

I somehow became close with Aly's father. Everyday ba naman akong nagpupunta dito eh.

"Good to see you too, Tito." Yes, he told me that I should call him Tito instead of Sir.

"Can I accompany Aly to his Therapy Sessions?" I asked.

"You don't need to." Aly said.

"No, I want to accompany you. Gusto ko lang makabawi sa ginawa mo sakin." I said.

Later on, napa payag ko rin siya. Pumayag yung Dad niya, pero si Aly lang talaga yung ayaw pumayag kanina. Buti talaga at napilit ko siya.
