From far, I saw my dear wife that I love so much carrying our daughter walking towards me. My smile widens seeing how she showed me her gummy smiles. We are married at a very young age; I was 19 years old and she was 20 years old. After few month of marriage, we are blessed with Ella; she was adopted by us directly after her parents died in a car crash. Jennie could not bear seeing Ella being sent to an orphanage.

We do not come from a wealthy family, we live in a village and I work as a hard labour to support my family. Yes I am a woman who married another woman, the only woman that I dearly love until the end of my life. Jennie and I met when we were really small, I was found by her parents near the river in a basket and no one knows where I came from. Only a card was left there with my name "Lisa M". I don't even know what my real surname is but I am lucky to find them who are willing to care for me until now. Jennie was 1 years old back then.
As we grew older, we tend to be very close and not seeing each other for 10 minutes hurts us so much. We became best friends with Chaeng and Jisoo at the same time. They came from the orphanage near our village. Jisoo always got scolded by their care taker because she will return with mud all over her body and face. She never looked nice at all but Chaeng was always there for her. Their friendship is out of the world and so does mine and Jennie. 19 years pass by and both of us are really in love with each other. They way Jennie tend to me, no one can do that. Only her knows what I like and what I hate. She is so kind and her voice is like an angel sent to me. We do not have lots of money but we are happy. Every night, Jennie will sing to Ella making her sleep easily. Ella on the other hand, looked almost the same as Jennie.
Jisoo is two years older than me but Chaeng is the same age as mine. I and Jisoo worked in the field near our village to support each other. As for me, I worked for my family and Jisoo stayed with Chaeng after she is out from the orphanage. Both of them like each other but they are very shy to admit. So they stayed together and Jisoo provide everything for Chaeng. Jennie's parents approved our relationship even though it is not accepted by some community. For them, being happy is everything and she saw how happy Jennie was with me and they love the way I took care of her daughter.
Jennie and Ella is everything to me. From small until I'm an adult now, I am good with planning and coordination but since we do not have much money, I can't continue my studies. It is the same as Jennie, she loves to sing and wanted to study in that area but she did not further her studies because of her love to me. She cannot bear living without me for a second and I can be crazy if I don't see her after my work. Ella also is growing to be a beautiful kid. Every day I worked day and night to give everything they need. Every now and then I will encourage Jennie to audition as an artist as she got a big talent and it is a waste to ignore it. Sometimes I need to let her do that because I know she will be happy.
It has been two years since we had Ella on our arms. We are content and really happy. Nothing beats our love. Even our sexual life is good too. We are never bored with each other. I really love how my life is right now and never want to change anything because of Jennie other than work harder for our happiness.
I am arranging things on the field when I saw it's time for me to go back. I waved at Jisoo who is again, covered in mud everywhere stating I want to go back.
"Chu, I want to go back to my wife, she must be worry if I did not came back on time!" I waved her goodbye and she waves back.
"Okay Lisa! See you tomorrow! I got a bit more things to settle before I get to eat chicken with Chaeng!" I laugh at her statement because she can't never live without chicken. She only shares the chicken with Chaeng and through these 2 years, they've grown to love each other very much. Right now they are girlfriends but they don't want to get married yet.
I walked along the river towards my house where I can see Jennie is playing with our daughter running in front of our house.
"Eommaaa... " Ella cannot speak properly yet, just Eomma and Mommy when she called us and wee wee if she needs to go to the loo. I can see how happy Jennie is with Ella. Ella is like her life and she never lose one sight of her at all. She makes sure that Ella got everything she needs. Ella has been showing symptoms of Low Heart rate and when we brought her to the hospital, the doctor said that she got heart issues and needs transplant when it is ready. I remember how Jennie cried hearing to the news and I worked triple hard to get the money but Ella needs attention to medicine. So far I never failed to provide that to her but I know when the time comes, I really need to try different things to get better money.
"Hey Nini..." I called her once I reached in front of the house and carry Ella with me.
"Hey Lili, I missed you today..." She pecks my lips and Ella giggles while pouting wanting me to peck her lips. I did that and Jennie did that making her laughs.
"I did extra work today as they are offering more money Nini, sorry for not informing you. I got lost in doing the work just now" I smiled at her and she nods.
"That's okay Lili... we are doing this for Ella. Thank you for making me happy every day... I love you" She showed her gummy smile and I melt. Jennie never failed at making me love her deeper each and every day.
"I love you more than you can know Nini... You're my soulmate..." I giggle and she hit me playfully on the shoulder.
The three of us went in as Jennie already cooked for our dinner. Jennie always have her own words to say when it is only the both of us. She always uses the words like
"The way I see it, if you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain"
I love how she thinks about life, her positivity is what makes me strive further in our every day life. Jennie never failed to make me smile every day. It is like a must for her just to see my smile even though I am really tired at the end of the day.
I am currently looking at Jennie feeding Ella her food.
"Eomma... emm emm" Ella is pointing her mouth telling Jennie she wants to eat more. At 2 years old, Ella is a bright kid. She never cried when she is in pain with her heart. She always calls for me or Jennie while holding her chest. She knows how hard I work and every time I'm tired at home, she will climb on me just to hug me or kissed me. She is a loveable daughter and I will not trade anything for my family right.
I smile by myself looking at them with full of love. Jennie saw me and kiss my cheeks while feeding me too and Ella laughs looking at us.
"Mommy... Eomma.. Emmm" She wants us to kiss again and I did in front of her making her clap her hands.
"Our daughter is growing up Jennie, I love the way you took care of her. You are the best Eomma for Ella Jennie... No one else can replace you.." I told Jennie and she smile widely.
I know she loves it when I compliment her. I continue eating with my family and hope everything will turn out right in the future. I love Jennie so much I can't imagine be far away from her. She will be the death of me. I can only love her and her alone.
