LISA POV
It has been 2 weeks after Jennie woke up and so far her progress is showing positive. She can now walk but still on the wheelchair because Doctor GD said we cannot put too much pressure on her legs. She can talk properly now and most of the time she just wants to cuddle with me. Since she is a popular artist, I used all my connections to block her from being exposed. I don't want her to be stressed with the situation and the only thing came out in the news is that Jennie is resting.
"Lili, where do I go when they discharge me today?" She asked worried about where she can stay without knowing everyone is waiting for her at home wanting to celebrate her progress.
"Nini, where I'm going to bring you is somewhere special. When you were not around me, my dad picked us up and we all stayed together until now. Even Chaeng and Jisoo is there and they were not allowed to move out by my Mama Chittip. We will talk later about my life and you will share yours okay? But now let's got you discharge and let's go back home... Our home Nini.. oh yeah, there is one thing I need you to sign" Jennie nod smiling at me while clinging to my arms.
We might be in our 30s but we acted like a teenager. 10 years being apart is really torturing for Jennie and me so I don't mind she's acting like that but we never kissed because she knows she is just my ex-wife. Soon enough I will make her my wife again, it's a promise.
I got everything ready and Mino picked us up from the hospital.
"Oh, so this is Ms Jennie or should I say our future Mrs Manoban here?" Mino giggles making both Jennie and I blushed.
"Yahhh Mino... stop that..." He laughs making me laugh too.
"Jennie, this is Mino. Mino is dad's driver but he is like a brother to me. Mino, stop bullying Jennie.."
"What? Me? Jennie, trust me, I got bullied always by Lisa. I'm the victim here.." Jennie just giggle and went in the car sitting beside me.
"Don't mind Mino, he likes to play around.." I smiled at Jennie and she looked at like the first time we met.
"He is a nice guy and he takes care of you when I am not around... I am so sorry for being away for so long Lili... I should have not go for the audition at all.." Her eyes got teary and I smile at her assuring her it is okay.
"We all did it for Ella, our daughter.. you did nothing wrong to protect you loved ones.. I adore you braveness Nini.. Like I said, I will never forget our vows.. but right now, let's get to know each other fully first because we've been apart for 10 years. Not that I don't know you but I want you to feel special beside me. I will prove to you that I am still the Lili you love..." She puts her head on my shoulder and closed her eyes.
"Thank you Lili for saving me... I would have died if you are not there for me... Your soul makes me strong for the past 10 years..." I let her sleep on my shoulder because I know she might be tired.
When Jennie was in trouble, I was actually near Seoul and stayed in Seoul hospital to accompany her. The travelling time from Busan to Seoul is about 2 hours so I let her sleep first and let Mino drive us.
She looked beautiful as always and I will never look at other woman or man the way I looked at her. She is my life, Ella is completing our life. I would love to have our own baby but we will seek help from the doctors first and make sure Jennie is okay with it. Last time we decided not to have one because we do not have enough money but now it will be a different story.
After about 2 hours, the gate to the mansion is open and I wake Jennie up.
"Baby, we have reached our home. After this, you will be living here for good. Don't worry.. You can still be a singer if you want after this. Just make sure that you have ample rest time ok?" Jennie yawn looking at me and her mouth hanged open.
