"Go away, Divya!" Shikhar twitchedin pain and tries to shrug her hands off his shoulder.

"Why?" She was tearing up afraid of the scene in front of her.

"It's the full moon night ans vampires are thirsty for blood!" Shikhar tried his best to speak coherently with gritted teeth.

"What can I do to help you?"

"No, just go!"

Divya watched his knuckles turning white due to the pressure he applied in his hands.

"There must be something that I can do."

"Nothing!"

"Drink from me!" Divya said without an ounce of hesitation.

"What?" Shikhar's eyes held confusion.

"Drink from me, Shikhar!"

"No, Divya!"

"I know that you can drink from me without turning me!"

"I shouldn't."

"You should!"

"Please!"

"Shikhar, just do it." Divya exposed her neck and pushed her hair to the other side.

The moonlight shone bright upon the two of them and his thirst increased. His blood red eyes were scary.

"I will give you time to back out!"

"I don't need it!"

That was all he needed! A vampire would find it hard to hold back from fulfilling his thirst when he is under the moonlight if the full moon. His control can waver a lot too much if the person near him is his mate who he hasn't marked.

Shikhar sat up and pulled Divya into his lap. He cleared the right side of her neck from loose strands of hair and bit in to it whole inhaling her sweet scent.

Divya jerked at the feeling and screamed a bit. Not a loud scream but a low one which happened out of shock. Tears flew down her cheeks and her lips were quivering in pain.

She held his hand and supported her head in the crook of his neck giving more access to him.

Her eyes started to feel heaving and her hands lay limp on either of her sides resting on the grass. She was exhausted due to the amount of blood loss.

Shikhar stopped drinking and took his teeth out of her neck and licked the mark. This decreased her pain.

He held her close and both seemed to be in a bliss.

"The Rainwish flower does not grant wish for yourself. You have to wish for something for someone else." Shikhar started a conversation.

"Hmm, I know!" Divya gently whispered.

"For whom did you wish?"

"A secret for now."

"Hmm, are you tired?"

"Very!"

"I am sorry!"

"Don't be, I gave you the permission!"

"Thankyou!"

"Welcome!"

With that they drifted into a beautiful slumber on the grass with the bright moonlight guarding them.
