*Venz's POV*
I can't sleep at all last night. All I can think about is how many boys just did Samantha caught? First! Her seatmate, Mark. I know that Mark likes Irish, but why do he always stick to Samantha?!
(A/N: They're seatmates, duh!)
Second! Gavin. Do they know each other?! Since that accident at the canteen where Gavin bumped to Samantha, they're always by each other's side. I saw them when Sam went to the washroom last time, she even pat his head! Third! The guy who talked about the song being played yesterday! Why are they talking to each other comfortably?! Dammit!
*Knock Knock*
"Venz, are you awake?" Mom said at the door. I sit up from my bed and walk to the door and open it.
"Morning, Mom. Is there anything you need?" I ask while rubbing my eyes.
"Morning. Your dad needs you so be ready and go to his study." Mom said and went downstairs.
"Early in the morning.." I grumbled and went to the shower.
After I get ready, I walk to Dad's study. Before I go inside, I knock first.
"Come in."
"What's up, Dad?" I ask and sit on the sofa.
"Catch." He said as he throw a folder to me. Luckily, I caught it. I started to scan the insides of the folder.
"Dark City?" I ask in confusion.
"You need to go there."
"What? But why?!"
"We need you as a disguise to check all about the things inside that city." He said. I look to him with disbelief. "Want me to pass it to someone?" Nagulat naman ako kaya nilagay ko agad ang folder sa likod ko.
"No thanks! I prefer that I'm the one doing this." Sabi ko at binasa ito ng maayos. "So the results should be?"
"To get rid of the Dark city." Agad naman akong napatingin sa kanya.
"To get rid of the Dark city?! But Dad! Matagal niyo nang ginagawa to' pero never kayong nagsucceed." I said.
"That's why this mission will be the last time to get rid of that city. If we fail this, the Dark city will be forever." He said seriously. Na-pressure naman ako nang sinabi niyang "last time".
Napabuntong-hininga nalang ako at tumayo na. "Let's go downstairs and eat, Dad." Sabi ko at lumabas ng kwarto na yun. Pumasok muna ako sa kwarto ko at kinuha ang bag ko bago bumaba.
"Come and sit! Or else you'll be late for school, Venz." Sabi ni Mommy. Umupo ako at kumuha ng pagkain.
"Nasan si Ate?" Tanong ko nang kaming dalawa lang ni Mommy ang nasa lamesa.
"She's still sleeping. She stayed up all night doing her homeworks." Mom said as she eats.
'I stayed up all night too.'
