"Let's try this again," she said, showing the same anger in his eyes. He froze. He had never seen someone fight back to him and show him so much fury and hate that he has sent their way. It was unusual to say the least. "Chat Noir. My name is Ladybug. And I'm going to be your friend."

"What do you mean, friend? I have no friends and I certainly don't need any," he said with a growl, hoping it would make her back off.
"Well let me be your first," she said, her smile reappearing.
"I don't need friends," snapped Chat Noir, standing back up.
"But you don't know this."
"Did Adrien set you up to this?" scoffed the vampire.
"As a matter of fact, he did. I'm gonna help you be good," she said, the smile never leaving off of her face.

Chat Noir frowned. He let a sigh and then walked forwards to the mermaid. He knelt down so that they were face to face.
"You might bring me to my best m'lady," he said with a wink.
"Don't think I'll fall for any of those flirting tricks," she snapped.
"What flirting tricks? I genuinely think we could be a team," he said, a smile forming on his lips. It was only for a second, but she saw it.
"Honestly?" she asked for confirmation. The vampire nodded and leaned in.

Without hesitation, he dug his teeth in her neck and began to drink. The mermaid smelt a scream escape her as she tried to fight the vampire off. A huge wave from the sea caused the vampire to be sent backwards before turning back to Adrien. The bat watched in shock as the King of The Vampire Sea rose from the water.

Marinette held her hand against the mark and winced in pain as she did. She saw the anger on her father's face as he commanded the vampire to go home. He grabbed his daughter's arm and they swam back to the palace, where he proceeded until they arrived in the throne room.

"Daddy, I-"
"Enough Marinette!" boomed her father. His voice showed so much anger and hurt. He had been betrayed by his own daughter. "I made those rules to keep us safe! The vampires are selfish creatures!"
"No papa," whimpered Marinette.
"Don't interrupt me!" he yelled. Marinette bowed her head solemnly as he continued to reprimand her for her actions.
"You know the rules and yet you constantly disobey them. The number one rule is to not interact with the two legged!"
"But-"
"Enough! I don't want to hear your excuses. You are to remain in your bedroom with guards standing outside of your windows and outside of your door," he said with a sigh.
"Tom... my love... I don't think that's a good idea," said the calm voice of her mother as she swam beside the king.
"And what do you suggest Sabine?" asked Tom, his anger containing.
"Let her speak. Why was she up there?" she said, taking a seat on the throne beside the king.

"I was up there because a bat... named Plagg... he has a friend called Adrien. Adrien wants to be a good person. He doesn't want to drink from humans or anything. He wants to be free," she began. "So I agreed to talk to him. Adrien's dark form is the one to worry about. So I agreed to help Chat Noir become a good vampire too. It just may take some time."
"You think you can do this?" asked Sabine.
"I do," she said with a confident nod.
"Then do so," said Sabine with a smile.
"But-!"
"Tom dear, let her try. You can monitor the whole time," said Sabine, placing her hand on her husband's arm to keep her calm.
"Please papa! Let me do something right!" begged Marinette.
"Fine."

Marinette swam to her parents and wrapped them in an embrace to show how much she appreciated this.
