The pristine white snow continued to cascade lazily around them, dusting their hair like millions of tiny diamonds. Breaking apart from the breathless, intoxicating kiss, Kook gently wrapped his strong arms around Tae’s shivering frame, pulling him tightly against his chest to shield him from the freezing mountain wind.

"You don't need to give me an answer right now, Tae," Kook whispered deeply into his hair, his voice laced with a profound, raw sincerity. "Just take all the time you need... and please, just give me a chance to love you properly."

Tae’s breath hitched, a bright, feverish blush staining his cheeks. "O-oh..." he murmured softly, completely shy as he buried his face into Kook’s chest, his small hands clutching the expensive fabric of Kook's blazer.

Kook let out a soft, melodic chuckle, leaning down to press a tender, lingering kiss against Tae’s forehead before hugging him tightly once more. Breaking the embrace, Kook smoothly intertwined their fingers, his large, warm palm completely swallowing Tae’s smaller hand as he began to lead him briskly toward the VIP valet area.

"Come on, Tae. Let's go. We're heading somewhere special," Kook smiled brilliantly.

Tae blinked, trying to keep up with the billionaire's long strides. "Huh? But where are we going, Mr. Kook?"

Kook stopped in his tracks, turning around to look at him with a playfully stern expression. "Eyyy! What did I tell you about that formal title, huh? Don't call me Mr. Kook anymore... from now on, just call me Kookie."

Tae’s heart did a wild, dangerous flip inside his chest. "Ahh... okay, Kookie. But where are we actually going?"

"Just follow my lead. You'll find out very soon," Kook smirked mysteriously, squeezing his hand.

He led Tae straight to his gleaming, custom luxury Lamborghini parked at the curb. Walking ahead, Kook smoothly opened the passenger door for Tae, waiting until his secretary was safely inside before jogging around to the driver's seat. He fired up the thunderous engine and peeled out onto the highway.
As the city lights began to blur past the tinted windows, Tae turned in his leather seat. "Where are we going, Kookie?"

"Secret," Kook replied smoothly, keeping his eyes on the road with a brilliant grin. "It's an official surprise for you."

Tae arched an eyebrow. "A surprise? For what?"

"For being the most incredible, hardworking secretary to me," Kook murmured softly, his gaze softening. "We've been working closely together for almost a month now, and you've handled an immense amount of corporate stress and heavy schedules. Consider this my official payback to you, okay?"

Tae huffed cutely, crossing his arms over his chest. "Eyyy... Kookie, that's literally just my job. There's absolutely no need for you to prepare a massive surprise like this."

"Eyyy, just sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride. We'll be there in just a few minutes."

The Golden Tower

True to his word, Kook smoothly navigated the sports car into the grand, multi-lane driveway of Lotus Peak.
The structure was a jaw-dropping, ultra-modern five-star skyscraper—a prestigious mega-complex that housed its own elite residential condominiums, a high-end luxury mall, a private tropical resort, a high-stakes casino, and an exclusive subterranean nightclub. It was widely known in the financial world that Lotus Peak was entirely owned and operated by the elite Kim Group of Company.

What Tae didn't know was that Kook had just personally purchased a multi-million dollar, fully furnished private unit inside the building specifically for him—and it was located directly adjacent to Kook’s own penthouse suite.
