My Future Huswife
Kook’s POV
The transfer to the luxury private VIP suite went seamlessly. Looking down at the bed, I stared at the beautiful boy resting beneath the pristine white sheets. My huswife—my beautiful husband-slash-wife, hihihi! I mean, he is officially my boyfriend right now, but sooner or later, he is absolutely going to be my huswife, and that is a definitive promise.
The second his condition stabilizes and the doctors officially discharge him from this hospital, I am going to make my move. I am going to propose to him.
I already have the entire dream laid out in my mind. I want to marry him in Taiwan. We are going to have the most breathtaking, elegant garden wedding, completely surrounded by oceans of vibrant purple and white flowers—because I know that is exactly what TaeTae has always secretly wanted. He also frequently whispered about his dream to have twin sons one day, and we’ve already chosen the perfect names for them: Taejeon and Jeonhyung. That is exactly why he told me before that we would look into a surrogate mother to start our family.
Sitting on the edge of the mattress, I gently lifted his limp hand, interlocking our fingers before pressing a soft, lingering kiss against his knuckles. I just stared at his quiet face, completely mesmerized. Even with medical tape and bruises, my soon-to-be huswife is so incredibly beautiful. His lips are as red as a crisp apple, matching his perfectly pointed nose and those soft, lenient eyes.
Even when he’s fast asleep, his ethereal visual power shines through completely.
As I sat there, tracing the lines of his face with my eyes, the immense exhaustion of the past twenty-four hours finally caught up to me. Without even realizing it, my eyelids grew heavy, and I fell fast asleep right beside him.
...
When my eyes finally blinked open, nearly five hours had drifted past. TaeTae was still completely still, trapped in his deep, healing slumber.
Realizing the suite was entirely bare, I pulled out my phone and called Jimin, asking him to come over and watch TaeTae for a little while. I needed to personally head out to buy all the high-quality essentials, clothes, and comfort food that TaeTae would desperately need the exact moment he finally opened his eyes.
Before leaving, I also made sure to contact his stepmother, coldly informing her of the taxi accident and instructing them not to worry about a single thing. I made it explicitly clear to them that the moment TaeTae is discharged from the hospital, he will be moving directly into my private mansion under my personal care.
After about half an hour of waiting, the suite door clicked open, and a breathless Jimin stepped inside.
"Mr. Kook, I'm here already," Jimin whispered respectfully, offering a soft bow. "You can head home and rest now. I am so incredibly sorry for the inconvenience, and sorry for bothering you with all of this, Mr. Kook."
Jimin was still completely blind to the true, passionate nature of our relationship, assuming I was just being a remarkably generous boss.
I let out a soft chuckle, raising an eyebrow playfully. "Ouch... do you really want me to leave that quickly, Jimin?"
Jimin’s eyes went wide in panic, his hands waving frantically. "Oh, no! No, Mr. Kook! That is completely not what I meant at all!"
"Hihihi! It's totally okay, Jimin, I'm just teasing," I smiled, stepping toward the door. "I called you here to watch over TaeTae for a little while because I have some specific things to buy for his recovery. Don't worry, I will be back immediately."
Jimin let out a relieved sigh, nodding gently as he walked over to the bedside. "Ah! Okay, Mr. Kook, no problem at all. Besides, this is my absolute best friend—of course I am going to take care of him with everything I have."
