Tae gently lifted the flawless sterling silver bracelet from its satin cushion, his breath hitching as the polished metal caught the morning light.
"Woah... This bracelet is so beautiful... woah," Tae whispered to himself, a soft, breathless gasp escaping his lips as he traced the intricate design. "It's literally perfectly made. And this pendant... wait, is this what Kookie was talking about in his text? Hehehe... that man... woah."
A helpless, smitten smile took over his face. Completely captivated by the thoughtful gift, Tae didn't waste another second and carefully slid the silver band over his wrist, snapping the delicate clasp into place.
"Ohhhh! Woah, it fits my hand absolutely perfectly... woah, I like this so much," he cheered softly, admiring how the moon pendant rested against his fair skin.
Then, out of nowhere, a deep, velvety voice echoed through the quiet room.
"Do you really like it?"
Tae violently flinched, realizing someone was standing directly behind him. He spun around on his heel, his eyes widening in pure shock as he found Kook standing right there, a dark, incredibly soft gaze fixed on him.
Tae's heart instantly went into overdrive, hammering frantically against his ribs.
Tug-dug! Tug-dug! Tug-dug!
Shiiit! Why on earth can't I move? What is happening to me... TaeTae, come on, move! Tae screamed at himself in his mind, completely paralyzed by his boss's sudden, breathtaking proximity.
A small, knowing smirk played on Kook's lips as he took a slow, deliberate step forward. "Do you like my gift, TaeTae? Huh?"
"Ahhh... ahmmm... uhhh... yeeees," Tae stuttered nervously, his throat suddenly completely dry as he looked up. "Yessss, I really like it... I like it a lot... hihihi."
Kook closed the remaining distance between them. He reached out, his large, warm hands gently tracing down the sides of Tae's face, slipping past his collarbone down to his chest, before finally settling possessively around Tae's slim waist. With a gentle but unyielding tug, Kook pulled Tae flush against his hard frame. They were standing so close Tae could feel the steady, rhythmic heat of Kook's breathing.
Slowly, deliberately, Kook leaned his face down, his eyes dropping to Tae's parting lips.
"Kookie! Wa-wha-what are you doing?" Tae stammered, his hands coming up to rest weakly against Kook's broad shoulders.
"Shhhhh! TaeTae... you look so incredibly beautiful today," Kook whispered hoarsely. He tilted his head, burying his face into the crook of Tae's neck, taking a deep, heavy sniff of his skin. "Uhmmmm... you smell so amazingly nice, too... ahhhhhh."
Tae's knees went entirely weak, a soft shiver rippling down his spine. "Yaaahhh! Kookie, stop it... what if someone walks in and sees us like this? What do you think they'll think? Kookie, please, stop it..."
Ignoring the frantic plea, Kook leaned in even deeper, his lips brushing against the sensitive skin of Tae's neck as he inhaled his scent once more. His voice dropped into a dark, fiercely possessive growl. "You're mine... you are completely, entirely mine. I am the only one who has the absolute right to touch you like this. TaeTae, you're just mine, okay?"
