Author's Note:
OH MY GOODNESS, MY FLOWERS! 🥵💜 Put your phones on high brightness and grab a giant fan, because the angst has officially turned into absolute fire! Kookie really thought he was a tactical sniper, but he was just an intensely jealous boy watching his future brother-in-law! 😂 And can we talk about Nanny's beautiful speech? My eyes were leaking real tears! 🥺 But then that ending in the Lavender Garden under the full moon... my jaw is completely on the floor! Drop your spicy, screaming thoughts in the comments below! 🌸✨
The Monoscope and the Angry Bull
Author's POV
The afternoon sun continued to cast long, elegant shadows across the grand estate gardens. TaeTae and Jaebum walked side-by-side down the stone path, completely surrounded by towering emerald trees and blooming white roses, chatting softly as the crisp air filled their lungs. To any casual observer, it looked like a perfectly peaceful, domestic afternoon walk.
But out beyond the high-security perimeter walls of the mansion-or rather, directly behind the glass window of the master bedroom-a dark, chilling reality was unfolding.
A mysterious figure, completely clad in luxury designer gear, was kneeling silently behind the heavy silk curtains. His movements were cold, calculating, and lethal. Resting heavily against his shoulder was a long, high-caliber... monoscope.
Oh shoot! False alarm, my beautiful Flowers! It wasn't a dangerous assassin or a lethal sniper rifle at all! It was actually just Kookie, watching Jaebum and TaeTae through a high-powered brass monoscope, looking so intensely pissed off that any single moment he was going to completely explode from sheer, raw jealousy.
Down in the garden, TaeTae seemed to look incredibly happy and vibrant while talking to Jaebum, his lenient eyes wrinkling beautifully as he smiled and laughed. But up at the window, Kookie was watching their every single movement through the lens, his handsome face twisted into an expression that resembled a completely mad, raging angry bull.
The Price of a Hug
Kook's POV
"Jaebum! Jaebum! Jaebum! I swear to God, I want to literally crash and punch that annoying face of yours into absolute pieces right now! Arrggh!" I growled out loud, pacing back and forth across the rug, my knuckles turning white against the brass monoscope.
"Who on earth do you think you are, huh?! Tsk. I am way more breathtakingly handsome than you will ever be! Tsk."
"What on earth did my TaeTae even see in a guy like you?! Argh!"
I slammed the monoscope back to my eye, narrowing my sight on the garden path. "Hmmm... the two of them are really out there having the absolute time of their lives, huh?!"
"YAAAALLLLLAHHH! TaeTae, stop smiling at him like that!" I whined desperately to the empty room, my heart hammering against my chest. "I am way better than him, TaeTae! And besides, you never give me that exact kind of radiant, boxy smile when you're talking to me lately! Aishhh!"
Why on earth is TaeTae acting so incredibly comfortable around that Jaebum guy? Are they truly that close behind closed doors? Haist. This entire disaster wouldn't be happening right now if I hadn't let that annoying investor inside my property. Now I regret it. I genuinely, deeply regret it with everything I have. Haist.
"I know it is a terrible thing to say, but if I actually had a real sniper rifle here, I would shoot that Jaebum right out of his white suit! Arrggh!"
Why are they taking so remarkably long to talk? What on earth are they even discussing out there? I couldn't take it for a single second longer. It was making me go completely crazy seeing my precious TaeTae with another man. I didn't trust that Jaebum guy at all-he looked like an absolute, text-book fuckboy. With that styled long hair of his... does he honestly think that makes him look handsome? Tsk.
