Lisa is seriously testing my patience, my Flowers! 😤 But Kook stood up for Tae and even threatened to break up with her! What do you think she’s going to do next? Let me know below! 🌸

Jimin was completely thrown off by the sudden news of his corporate transfer, but knowing he had no other choice, he swallowed his anxiety and accepted the position.

The following morning, Tae and Jimin decided to arrive at the building a full thirty minutes before their official clock-in time. Tae had a mission: he needed to secretly place the elegant gift box containing the white dog plushie on Kook's desk before anyone else arrived.
Holding his breath, Tae gently pushed open the heavy mahogany doors of the executive suite. To his absolute surprise, Kook was already sitting at his desk, typing away.

Kook looked up, his sharp eyes instantly locking onto Tae. Seeing himself caught, Tae cleared his throat, maintaining a professional posture as he walked forward, holding the unmarked box.
"Good morning, Mr. Kook," Tae greeted smoothly, executing a polite bow. "Um, someone left this downstairs to be given to you, sir. Don't worry, I already personally inspected it. There's no harm in it."

"Oh? For me?" Kook blinked, a genuinely surprised smile breaking across his handsome face. "Wow, since when do people randomly leave me gifts at the front desk? Weird. Let me see what it is!"
"Here it is, Mr. Kook," Tae said, handing the package over.

Kook eagerly tore into the wrapping and lifted the lid. The moment his eyes fell on the contents, he let out a loud, boyish laugh. "Woah! A dog plushie! Hahaha!"
Tae’s smile faltered slightly, his brow furrowing. "Why are you laughing, Mr. Kook? Do you not like it?"

"No! No, no, it's not that at all," Kook reassured him quickly, lifting the pristine white stuffed animal out of the tissue paper. "It's just... it's my very first time receiving a gift like this. I honestly love it. Usually, the only gifts people send me are expensive designer watches, rare perfumes, or gold jewelry. It's always so common and predictable—things I can easily afford myself."

Aish, this man... flexing his immense wealth first thing in the morning, Tae amusedly grumbled in his mind, rolling his eyes behind a neutral expression.
"Hmm, but this one... I don't know why, but I really like it," Kook murmured, running a thumb over the soft fabric. He looked up at Tae, his eyes wide. "Do you have any idea who gave this to me, Tae?"

"Ah... um... I really wouldn't know, Mr. Kook," Tae lied, a small smirk playing on his lips as his internal voice cheered, Oh, at least he genuinely likes it! Hihihi.

"Oh, Tae! Wait for me here," Kook said, suddenly standing up from his desk and adjusting his blazer. "We have a field meeting with a major client later. Before we head out, I want to run down to the Research Department to check on Yoongi—and see how your friend Jimin is settling in. Hehehe, you know how Yoongi is. He has an incredibly hot temper and gets angry at the slightest inconvenience."

The Research Lab

Meanwhile, down in the sterile corridors of the Research Department, Jimin was cautiously approaching the main lab office. He was clutching a small box of his personal office supplies in one arm and desperately hugging his large, fluffy comfort cat plushie in the other.

Just as his fingers brushed against the door handle, a loud, thunderous shout echoed from inside the room, causing him to flinch.

"Argh! Why do these useless assistants always leave me with a mountain of unfinished documentation?!" Yoongi’s furious voice boomed through the door. "Those girls... if they weren't women, I swear I would have kicked them out myself! Tsk!"
