The Art of Pissing Your Pants
Jimin's POV
I was initially heading straight toward the executive office that afternoon for the sole purpose of tracking down TaeTae. My exact plan was to invite him to go out for a massive celebratory weekend with us.
So, acting completely like I owned the place, I casually swung the heavy office door open without bothering to knock a single time-but oh my absolute goodness, I could not believe the sight my own two eyes were forced to witness.
Is this scene for real?
Am I not currently trapped in a wild, hallucinating dream right now?
My innocent, pure best friend is currently locked in a passionate embrace, aggressively kissing our literal billionaire CEO?!
Oops... I think I just violently interrupted their very private, high-heat corporate business. 😳💦
Gosh... a wave of pure terror crashed over my soul. I felt entirely certain that today was officially going to be my last day alive on this planet, and that this exact passing hour was when I was going to catastrophically lose my employment.
I scrambled backward, frantically trying to close the door to leave the two lovers alone, but before I could escape down the corridor, Mr. Kook's deep, booming voice suddenly sliced through the air.
"Jimin! Come back inside here right now!" Mr. Kook commanded authoritatively.
Gosh, my heart began to hammer against my ribs at a terrifying, frantic speed. I felt a sudden, dangerous sensation that I was literally about to pee directly in my trousers because of the sheer nervousness and intense fear paralyzing my bones. 📈👶
"Mr. Kookie, I swear to God I didn't see a single thing, I promise!" I blurted out frantically, throwing my hands up in complete surrender as I began begging for my professional life. "Mr. Kookie, please don't fire me from the firm! Please, I beg you, just let me finish my mandatory internship around here, Mr. Kookie!" 😭🙏
Kookie blinked, his intense gaze softening as a slight smirk tugged at his lips. "Hey... Jimin, what on earth are you rambling about? I didn't summon you back inside to terminate your contract. I called you because I want you to officially know the truth-TaeTae is my absolute lover. And I want to announce to you right now that I am planning to marry him very soon."
What?! Marry my absolute best friend?! The absolute shock hit me like a physical blow; I stood there completely incapable of processing what I had just heard. For a split second, a sudden wave of deep betrayal washed over my chest. How on earth could Tae hide this from me?! But then again... who the absolute hell am I to blame him for keeping secrets, when I am literally the first one in this friendship to brutally betray our single-pals promise, hihihi! 🤫
Haist! Like, let's be entirely real for a second-who the fuck would realistically be able to avoid falling head over heels for a man like Jeon Kook or my precious, breathtaking Yoongi baby?
I guess the ancient saying is completely true: "Best friends who have the same feathers, will find their boys together," hihihi! 🪶👬
"Ahhh...! You desire to marry my beautiful best friend, Mr. Kook?" I responded without a single shred of hesitation, forcing a giant, supportive smile onto my face. "Well, of course! Yes, you can absolutely marry his asset anytime your heart desires, Mr. Kook!"
