Johnny Depp
~~~It felt like years since you had actually left the house. Sure the balcony welcomed your presence once in a while but besides that you didn't go outside. And of course our of all people you had to be on lockdown with the person you were secretly in love with. Speaking of which...
"How you feeling?" He asked after knocking lightly on the doorframe
"Good." You lied and he sensed it, chuckling. The bed dipped beside you and a plate of cookies was in front of you."What kind?"
"Sugar." He shrugged.
"Sugar?" You hated sugar cookies. They never appealed to you and he knew that. "I hate sugar."
"I know. More for me."He bit into one he had in his hand and winked.
"Asshole." You mumbled. He set the plate down and wrapped his arm around your body, pulling you down on the bed beside him. "Nooo leave me alone!"Even though you protested, he never let go. Instead held onto you tighter.
"I've known you for years Y/N. I know you never deny my hugs."He was right. You've known Johnny for 15 years now. At the time you met, he was about 40 and you had just turned 21. You guys grew close even though the age difference disturbed some people.
"Well I am now." You said holding back a laugh.
"What is going on with you?" I'm in love with you cause you're perfect for me but you're also old enough to be my dad even though that doesn't make me want you any less.Instead of all of that you settle with a simple I'm fine. He laughs knowing you're lying.
"You want to tell me the truth now?"
"No. Not really." You laugh.
"Please?"
"Don't laugh at me."
"Well if it's stupid I'm laughing." He admitted.You rolled your eyes and whined, pulling away from him.
"Okay okay. I'm sorry. I won't. Tell me."
"I love you."
"I love you too." He says easily.You had told him that a million times before and vice versa but this time was different. Yet, you didn't push it. It wasn't the right time.
One night and two days pass and you still hadn't said anything.
"Y/N, can I talk to you?" He came into your room as you finished getting ready for bed. Well at least getting in bed. Since quarantine, your sleep schedule was non existent.
"Sure. What's up?"
"You probably don't remember but two days ago. When you told me you loved me?"He asked and you froze. You laughed it off and got under your covers with your phone in hand.
"Like I've told you for years?"
"Right but that time it felt... different."
"Different?"
"Like you really, and I mean really, meant it."He made his way to the bed and sat on the edge in front of you.
"I can't get it out my head. Maybe I'm just over thinking it."
If you let him go now, you told yourself, you will never bring yourself to tell him again. You sat there debating with your two voices while he put his head in his hands.
"You're not."
"Huh?"
"You're not over thinking it at all. I meant I was in love with you."
"Oh-"
"I know. Its stupid. I'm young and it wouldn't work out."You roll your eyes ready for him to explain.
"What? No. I was gonna say I'm in love with you too." He grinned. "I would've told you sooner but the age difference seemed so scary." He chuckled.You couldn't take it anymore. You jumped into his arms making him fall back on the bed and groan.
"Careful darling. I'm old." He laughed.
"But you're still hot." You smirk.Word count: 630
