I couldn't focus in any of my classes. There I was, sat in a room with around 20 other students, at a desk, half paying attention to the teacher who was droning on about something I didn't care about. To be honest, I would rather be hanging out with Hanna, just chilling. Because those were my favourite kind of days. The days where we wore our most comfortable, ugly, hole ridden pyjamas and spread ourselves over her sofa. The days where we would watch movies and cuddle, or watch cartoons and eat chocolate. The lazy days.

I didn't know I was daydreaming until the bell rang, and I was snapped out of my fantasies. That's when I found Hanna leaning on the desk next to mine. The room was pretty much empty apart from the teacher, getting rid of the notes from the board.

"Want to have lunch with me?" Hanna asked. She wore this huge smile, which I swear could have made flowers bloom and the sky turn blue. It was better than any sunshine.

"Yeah, sure." I tried to sound like I wasn't mentally jumping up and down like a kid getting ice cream. But that's what Hanna did to me. She always made me feel this way, all jumpy and everything.

She made sure the teacher was facing the board before pecking my lips and then leaving. I was hoping that one day, she could get comfortable, so she didn't have to check nobody was watching.

I was on my way to my next class when I passed my locker. There was a note sticking out of the flap, which I took before anybody could see. I scanned it quickly, then sighed and read it once again before throwing it in a nearby bin and walking away.

Emily,
We need to talk. I miss you. Please.
