Aria was back home now. I hadn't left her house. Her father had been elsewhere. Apparently working at Hollis, but I doubted it. After all, it didn't take a genius to know that he caused Aria to be so stressed out. Ella was there, watching us. She was being so polite, and didn't even seem to mind me and Aria. In fact, I think she was just happy that she still had a daughter. The shock won't wear off for a while.

Whereas me, I spent every day with my girlfriend. I never let go of her hand, or at least had to be making some kind of contact with her. The next few weeks after she was released were filled with endless sleepovers and movie dates.

Until one day I got a message from Emily asking us both to meet her at her house. I carefully led Aria to the car, and started it up. She stared out of the window at the passing houses and shops, and I never let go of her hand. I hummed along to a song on the radio, carefully watching the road.

"What do you think's so important?" Aria asked after a while of silence. I shrugged, my mind wandering to all the possibilities.

"Maybe it's something to do with school. Or maybe just a check up, see how you're doing." I said, and Aria gave a 'hmm' as an agreement. I pulled up outside of Emily's house, and helped Aria out of the car. We walked up to the front door, only for Emily to open it.

"Come on in. Sit down." Emily led us to the living room, and we took a seat on her sofa. She sat on the other sofa, and Hanna was already here.

"Han, babe, put your phone away." Emily said, and Hanna put her phone down and payed us her full attention.

"We have something to tell you..." Emily began, shooting a nervous glance at Hanna. Hanna gave her an encouraging smile. I immidiately thought the worst.

"One of you is pregnant!" I almost yelled, and then they burst into fits of laughter. Eventually, they settled down, and Hanna had ended up sitting on Emily's lap. Aria chuckled softly, cuddling into my side.

"I thought you were supposed to be the smart one, Spence." Hanna joked, and then Emily turned to look at us with her serious face.

"There's somebody here who you haven't seen for a very long time. In fact, years. But she has an explanation to give, and if you want, you can listen." Emily explained, nervously fidgeting with her bracelet. Hanna rubbed her leg soothingly, and then I turned to face Aria.

"What do you think?" I asked her, almost a whisper. She looked up at me and nodded, so I turned back to Emily.

"Come on in." Emily called, loud enough so that whoever it was could hear their cue.

And in she walked. Blonde hair flowing, eyes bright, wearing the same yellow top as the night she died. At first I thought this was some sick joke with a projector, but then she sat down in front of us.

"Do you want to hear the explanation?" She asked, her voice tinted with nerves and also a little smug. I looked at Aria, whose eyes were wide, probably mirroring mine.

"You're dead." I simply stated, and Alison smiled that genuine, beautiful smile. The one where somebody had just amused her, and she was actually genuinely happy, instead of feigning interest.

"I thought you were supposed to be the smart one, Spence." She mimicked Hanna's words from earlier. Could it be, that she was really home?

Alison had explained everything to Aria and Spencer. They had taken it almost as well as Hanna. Spencer of course asked a load of questions, and some of them were hard for Alison to answer without getting upset. But we were finally past the explanations. And all 5 of us were sat around my kitchen table, eating a pizza Hanna had ordered.

"So, I heard Toby was out of the picture?" Alison indicated to Spencer and Aria, who were snuggling with their noses pressed against each other's. Spencer smiled.

"Nobody but Aria." She cooed, and Aria kissed her cheek.

"And Mona?" Alison turned to Hanna, who was holding my hand as she deep throated two slices of pizza.

"Not really spoken to her much." Hanna said after she had almost finished choking down the pizza. I smiled at her, and then turned to Alison.

"So are you moving back in with Jason?" I asked, and something crossed her face.

"I can't. He knows I'm back, because I visited him a few days ago. But I can't go back there. I'm not causing trouble, am I?" She asked, a worried expression on her face. I shook my head.

"Of course not. Stay as long as you want. My mum won't be back anytime soon, and I get lonely when Han isn't here." I said, and Hanna rested her head on my shoulder before kissing my neck.

"Thanks, Em." Alison says before taking a sip of her drink.

"So it's the five of us together again? Like old times?" Spencer asked, and we all turned to Ali.

"Like old times." She agreed before giving us her trademark smile.
