"Kara, what are you on about?!" Lena questions, still overwhelmed by Kara's accusation.

"Y/n told me that you were flirting with her! I know that you're trying to take her away from me. Just respect what you don't have: a close connection to anyone!"
She belted intensely at the top of her lungs, getting all up in Lena's face to hold her ground.

After she roared out the last sentence, realising what she just said, there's a moment of bitter silence. Kara gulps and adjusts her glasses waiting for a reply as Lena just stares her down.

"Kara?" Lena mutters her name calmly as she slowly gets up from her chair and stands centimetres away from her face:

"You're an amazing reporter." She says whilst norrowing her eyes and smiling sarcastically...

"But you're the worst person I've ever met." She whispers into Kara's left ear.

"But yo-" Kara tries to interject.

"You treat Y/n well?" Lena questions in a patronising manner.

"Yes, of course I do!" Kara replies whilst sounding startled.

"Well see about that." Lena threatens in a low tone before demanding...

"If you want to keep your job, then I suggest that you leave my office and don't say another word."

Kara frowns, opening her mouth, ready shout again. She sees Lena's dead-pan face and shakes her head before storming off, back into the elevator.

As soon as Kara steps back onto the floor that her desk is located, she sits slouched down with her palm resting on the side of her head... She looks like she's about to pull her hair out.
You and Nia both look symonatiously at each other, concerned as to what was said.

"Hey." Nia says quietly to try and get Kara's attention.
"You okay?" You ask.

Kara stays quiet, slumped in her chair for a moment before replying.

"Lena threatened me. She really doesn't like the fact that I'm with you. She said that if I'd continued the conversation further, than I could lose my job."

After looking through the pristine glass walls of Audra's office, you notice that she has her back to the transparent side of the room, with a small phone cupped  in her hands and pressed against her ear.
So you go round to Kara's desk, with you both facing the computer.

Kara then softly grabs your hand as you both go to the bathroom to talk. Luckily no one else is in there.

A tear races down her cheek before she quickly wipes it away, carrying on with her sentence...

"She said that I could lose you."

She pulls you in for a hug, as she starts sniffing slightly and leaning her chin on your shoulder. You keep reassuring her that things will be okay.
