Alex talks to Brainy through her earpiece, explaining that they're ready to head back to the DEO. The large, violet, glowing portal opens up suddenly as the five of you race through it (with you still being cradled in Supergirl's arms). You're all transported to what looks to be a workplace. There's weapons, tools and machinery, along with a oval shaped table that has a dark blue hue underneath it. The whole area is dark. With massive windows covering up most of the wall towards the back of the building, being the main source of light. All of the people sat at their computers are wearing all black. You look around, baffled as to where you are.
You realize that you didn't even know that Alex worked with Supergirl, or that she could fight the way she did.
Alex and John lead you over to a bed, and ask you to show them your arm and legs. Parts of the glass cut your skin with patches of dry blood surrounding some of the areas, but Alex assures you that she can take care of it. John stays and smiles, being there for moral support, as he sits on the chair that's on the opposite side of the tiny, compact room. Alex cleans up the wounds as your arms begin to ache slightly. Before letting you go, she places a bandage on your right arm and leg.
Alex goes back into the main area of the building.
She talks to Supergirl about the 'Superman' that they'd just not long fought.
After they've finished talking, Supergirl looks down at you with concern:
"I best take her back to mine." She says softly. Alex nods as she carries you in her arms once again...
She takes you over to Kara's place, in the same room that you were taken from by Superman.
You're left speechless and in awe. You know what this means but still can't wrap your head around the reality of the situation. You open your mouth, waiting to process what this is.
You walk closer to Supergirl who's overwhelmed with floods of tears at this point. You walk closer to her:
"Y/n." She says your name as her eyes gloss over.
She takes a deep breath to calm herself down before continuing...
"I'm Kara."
You feel your jaw drop before she walks closer to you. She gently holds the back of your head for a second, looking into your eyes before locking your lips on hers. You hold onto her waist, realising that you're starting to get emotional too.
You stop to breathe again, as she looks back at you innocently.
"I love you."
Kara subtly whispers, leaning her head on your shoulder.
You unravel her her over her right shoulder.
"I love you too."
You reply, giving Kara a kiss on the side of her forehead before smiling.
Kara goes to the bathroom. When she gets back, she changes back into her pink cardigan and white formal dress.
The door handle clicks suddenly, causing you both to jump at the same time. This is followed by a shuffling sound before the door opens. Kara grips your hand.
"Kara, I'm sorry that I'm - "
Alex stumbles through with two white paper bags filled with takeaway.
She pauses for a second, analysing the two of you before you try and move away awkwardly.
"I saw that." Alex laughs with her eyebrows raised before continuing...
"And I'll keep it top secret." She says playfully as you both smile.
"I told her I'm Supergirl." Kara explains in a more serious tone.
Alex nods to herself.
"I trust her if you trust her." She says to Kara.
