The Hunters Weakness [1] Theo Raeken

Chapter Six:

Khloe was furious about the fact her parents didn't care that Logan was missing. The alpha's pack was more important to them but to Khloe....Logan was all that mattered "Fine! I'll go look for him myself" Khloe shouted before leaving the house. She sat in her car and stared out the window. She couldn't stop thinking about Theo, About the way he makes her feel. The fact she helped him escape last night meant something but she didn't want him to know that she was prepared to keep him safe at all cost regardless of the consequences. 

Khloe changed into her uniform and prepared herself to face Melissa "Okay let's put our differences aside and just get on with our jobs....sounds alright to you?" Melissa blurts out "I don't really have a choice do I? I don't even want to be here, I'd much rather be searching for my brother who Peter Hale took might I add!" Khloe half-yells earning a sincere look from Melissa. She didn't know which means the rest of the pack didn't know. Khloe felt a sudden feeling grow over her. Trust or was it Hope. 

"Does Scott know?" Melissa asked her "I don't know considering I'm not talking to him I doubt he does unless he was in on the plan" Khloe answers "No Scott would never do something like that. He wouldn't break someone's trust" Melissa says "He already did break someone's trust! Mine" Khloe snaps "You know they'd be able to help. They could find your brother by scent" Melissa says "I don't want their help!" Khloe told her slightly, raising her voice. 

"No but you want his help" Melissa blurts out "Excuse me?" Khloe asked her with a confused expression "Theo's....I saw the way you looked at him" Melissa commented "I have no idea what you're talking about" Khloe lied "When he picked you up from your shift the other day. I saw the way you looked at him" Melissa repeats "Clearly you saw different to what actually happened" Khloe snapped refusing to make eye contact. 

"You may think that's the truth but deep down you're lying to yourself as well as him. You feel something for him.....something you can't forget. That kind of feeling doesn't disappear. You know the truth but you're afraid to admit it. Yes they lied to you but they had a good reason. They didn't know how you'd react but I know for a fact they were planning on telling you the night you found out" Melissa told her "You know what until you figure out what you actually want i'm gonna assign someone else to train you up" Melissa added before she headed to the staff room. 

Khloe didn't know what to do about Theo. About the pack. About her brother. About her parents. She wanted badly to trust the guy she'd started falling for but she refused to let herself feel. She needed to stay strong. She needed to stick to her legacy. Khloe watched as she saw Melissa hand a guy her information. Khloe thought she recognized him but she gathered she was seeing things until it hit her. Kyle Dean. 

She couldn't believe her eyes. What the hell was Kyle doing in Beacon Hill? What the hell was Kyle doing as a doctor? She couldn't handle this. She couldn't handle being around Kyle when all he did was flirt. She took out her phone from her pocket and did the one thing she knew she'd regret! Or would she? 'I need your help....Meet me in the woods at 2pm -K' she sent to Theo. 

Theo called a pack meeting at his house. He needed to tell the other how Khloe helped him last night. He knew for a fact he could trust her "What going on Theo?" Scott asked "It's about last night. Khloe helped us escape" He blurts out "She shot me with a damn arrow" Derek snapped "but you didn't die. Her parents wanted us dead but she refused to do it" Theo says "How are you so sure about this?" Stiles asks him. Stiles felt as if he could trust Khloe but he didn't want to betray his pack. His best friend or his girlfriend. 

"Every Time her parents told her to shoot she'd whisper under her breath loud enough for me to hear. She warned me before she did anything" Theo answers "But she still shot Derek?" Peter interrupts "because she had to prove to her parents that she was on their side but I think she's on our side" Theo told them "How can we be certain? We have to be careful" Lydia replies "You never trust a hunter" Peter blurts out "You trusted me" Allison shouts "No I never trusted you and I still don't" Peter spat "Theo you need to be careful but if you think we can trust her then I trust you. Try and speak to her" Scott answers with a small smile.
