Chapter 7. The Past

Nasa beach ngayon sina Ivan at Jesselynn to celebrate their graduation together.

They got a Latin honor. Both cum laude.

"So, saan ang workplace natin? May tumatawag na sa akin sa CCNHS, they want me to work their. You?" Asked by JJ while clinging her arm to his.

Hindi na nag-isip pa si Ivan, "I want to work with my girlfriend, of course."

JJ turned to him with great amazement. "Y-you sure, Ivan?! Wait, I'm not asking you naman to work with me but----"

"That's my final decision, all right? You can't do anything with that," he firmly said.

JJ sighed. "Okay. But it's really okay for me if you try to find some----"

He looked at her in a serious face. "Jesselyn Joyce. It's final. I wanna work there not only because of you. It's also because I want to. Besides, we can see each other with no hustle. Why? Don't you want me to be with-----"

Her eyes widened upon hearing those words, "W-what do you mean? No! Of course, I want you to be with me! Silly." She glared at him.

A smile form on his lips while staring at hers, "I love you," and without any further action, he cupped her face and claim her lips.

Seconds after when JJ needs to take a breath, "I love you too," she said then kissed him back, deeper now.

He puts his hand around her waist while his other hand position on the sand to support their weight.

His hand slowly going to the side of her breast as his fingers caressed it.

"Ivan..." She moaned with pleasure.

Their kiss gets deeper and deeper. He even bit her lower lip and then his tongue goes inside her mouth and have a fight to hers.

"Sir Ivan, Principal wants something to tell you," Sir Jericho said coldly.

He was always this cold towards him, no one knows the reason but JJ. She rejected him because she only wants Ivan.

They were classmates back in college days. Noon pa man, gusto na siya nito. He was the first man who came in the scene. But he hates Ivan so much because even though he was the first who noticed her, JJ didn't even give him a single chance.

Ivan went to the Principal's office. Lumabas naman si JJ sa kabilang pinto and asked Jericho where he is.

He shrugged, "Why don't you find him on your own?" He even avoids her eyes.

She heaved a sigh, "Jeri- I mean, Sir Jericho. Please be civil. Move on. Let's be professional here."

He nodded, "Sure. Just don't even dare ask me again where your boyfriend is dahil hindi ako hanapan ng mga nawawalang tao----"

"Paano kung ibang teacher hinahanap ko?"

"Absolutely no. I made it clear, hindi ako hanapan ng nawawalang tao. I'm not only the person here who you could ask to. There's Ma'am Yaz. Sir Raymund, Ma'am Rita, and so on. Ang dami naman nila, why me? We even have a CCTV you can check."

Walang nagawa si Ma'am JJ kundi ang tumango at umalis na lang.

Lingid naman sa kaalaman nila, masayang nanonood si Cylu. Actually, she's a Junior High that time, pero napadaan lang siya because she wants to walk around. Na kalaunan ay nag-transfer sa ibang school at bumalik ulit sa taong 2020.

She saw something again. And because of boredom, lumapit siya kay Sir Jericho. "Don't worry yourself, Sir. They'll eventually break up. Hindi nga lang sayo mapupunta," pagkatapos niyon umalis na siya.
