(I was bored so I drew a vampire girl. You'll meet her later. And if anyone's wondering, it's not Marlene.)
Roman looked at Brutus like he was crazy. There was absolutely no way that Remus was ever coming back from wherever he was, since it sounded like his paradise. And Beatrice was most likely dead. Roman had seen her being dragged away while screaming, kicking and crying for help, but to no avail. There was no way that she survived those vampires.
He shook his head. "I'll probably never see them again." He said, and heard a very well known voice reply. "Never sounds like much of an exaggeration, Pretty Boy." Roman turned in his seat to see Virgil smirking at him, with his arms crossed.
Brutus stood up from his chair, and bowed, taking off his hat to do so. "My Lord." He greeted. Virgil rolled his eyes. "Stand up properly, Brutus. And you know you don't have to do all that Lord crap with me." Brutus nodded, and stood up properly, putting his hat back on. "As you wish, Virgilius." Virgil chuckled at that.
"Just Virgil. No more and no less." Brutus nodded again, and stepped away from the chair so Virgil could sit in it. He did. "What did Bellatrix do this time? Her banging on the vacuum woke me up."
Brutus sighed. "She was making your guest uncomfortable, and calling you "it" again, me Lord." He told Virgil, practically hissing out the thing that Bellatrix had called Virgil, and when a vampire hissed, it sounded and looked rather intimidating.
Roman noticed that his tattoo warmed up a lot when Virgil sat down, but he ignored it.
Virgil sighed too. "Oh well, I suppose I'll leave her in there for a bit then." He said, smiling a bit when the three tailed fox came into the room.
It jumped onto his shoulder in a single jump, that a regular fox definitely couldn't do. Virgil chuckled, and began to pet it, which lead it to sitting down.
Roman took a moment to admire Virgil's smile, since he thought it looked absolutely beautiful.
Virgil looked over at Roman, making him blush, since he was sure that he caught him staring. His suspicions were confirmed when Virgil gave him a wink and a smirk, which instantly made him fluster up, and blush more. "We already have the outline of a plan on how to get your friends back, but we need to plan an escape too." Virgil said, turning serious.
Roman nodded, not daring to speak, since he was sure that his voice would betray him if he did. Virgil looked up at Brutus, who looked back down at him. "Brutus, would you mind getting us the plans over Marlene's castle from the attic? They are in section B." Brutus smiled at Virgil. "I would not, my Lord. I shall retrieve them." Virgil nodded. "Thank you, Brutus." Brutus walked off, to get the plans.
Virgil turned back to Roman. "Now, there is a chance that she won't coat her lips in love potion, however small that is. If she hasn't, I'll cross my fingers behind my back, then you know it." Roman nodded, even though he wouldn't mind kissing Virgil even if he wasn't in danger of being forced to love someone else. The thought alone made Roman's cheeks warm up.
Virgil raised an eyebrow at his blush, which only made him blush a bit more. Virgil continued talking. "Brutus will be out ride away from there, and he'll get your friends out into the car. If she offers you anything to eat or drink, try your best to not accept." Roman nodded again, and got a thought. He decided to ask Virgil about it.
"Is she a Lady? A Noble?" Virgil looked at him for a moment, and then nodded. "Did Brutus tell you?" He asked, the fox pressing its muzzle into his cheek.
Virgil continued petting the three tailed creature, and Roman nodded. "He did. He also told me about you." Virgil nodded again, looking out the only window in the room. It was raining outside.
The small raindrops drummed against the coloured glass, making a small rhythmic tapping sound. It was peaceful, and a soft background sound, which was also rather calming.
Virgil looked back at Roman, looking at his nose instead of into his eyes, since he didn't want Roman to look into them. "She is a Noble. But not a very powerful one, at least, ability wise. When it comes to influence, she is rather powerful."
Roman took note of that. "How will we make sure that she doesn't control me with her voice, then?" Virgil clicked his tongue while he thought for a moment. "Well, I could Claim you, but only with your consent of course."
Roman tilted his head in confusion. "What does it mean to be "claimed"?" Virgil raised an eyebrow slightly. It seemed there was something that Roman had yet to be informed of.
"It's a kind of ritual, which technically makes you a part of my following, but not really. It will make it harder for another Noble to order you around, and it's a thing that Nobles usually do with their romantic partners." He explained, so nonchalantly that Roman couldn't really understand how he did it. He blushed a soft red, and when Virgil noticed, he smirked slightly.
"How-... How is it done?" Roman decided to ask, a bit nervously. "Well, you would need to drink drop of my blood, and then kiss me, but that's kind of it." Virgil explained. He had added the kiss just because he wanted to kiss Roman, but he didn't need to know that.
Roman swallowed a lump in his throat. "Will there be other effects for me?" He asked, and Virgil smirked a bit at him. "Yeah, there will. They're not bad, though. Well, unless you're a vegetarian, but that's it."
Roman made his decision then. He would do a lot of stuff to save his friends, and if it meant that he possibly had to kiss a very hot vampire two times, then he was going to make that sacrifice.
"I'll do it."
