And you think your dad is annoying?

Virgil couldn't help but feel amused as realisation dawned on Roman's face, and he suddenly seemed slightly nervous. He looked over at Cordelia, who currently had her back turned to him, showing off the things on the back of her leather jacket.

She had drawn a skull on it, with two silver wings coming out from behind it, and the words "Bite me" over it, and "Fanboy" under it. In all caps, and red.

He smirked at her, and said, "No hug? Really?" His tone was slightly accusing and playful, and he could practically feel her roll her eyes as she turned around. She walked over to him, and wrapped her arms around him, which he gladly returned, by wrapping his arms around her smaller body.

He felt the wolf tattoo leave his skin to say hi to Cordelia in its own way. He smiled a bit at that.

When he pulled away from the hug, the blue wolf had yet to return to his own skin.

He could see that it had placed itself on Cordelia's neck, laying around it, and warming it up. Cordelia smiled, and caressed her skin where it was, making it wag its tail a little.

VIrgil chuckled at that, and Anne came back a few seconds later. She had a catalogue of the different types and kinds of tattoos that she and Cordelia could make in her hand, and she handed it to Roman, who thanked her for it, before he began to look through it.

He was clearly amazed by the many different kinds of tattoos that people had thought of throughout the decades that the practice had been there.

Eventually, Roman said. "Can I have the one of the sun? The one that glows when there's something danger nearby? Or when I want it to?" Anne smiled widely at him. "Of course! What colour do you want it to originally be?" Roman thought for a moment, before deciding on. "Dark red."

Anne nodded, and gestured for Cordelia to begin getting out the things they needed to make the tattoo. "Alright." She turned to Virgil. "This will take some time, you can go and occupy yourself with something in the other room." She pointed to a door, and VIrgil shrugged. "Sure." He said, and walked out the door, leaving Roman with the two female vampires.

The room he entered was more of a living room, than anything. Once more, the walls were covered in mural paintings, and in here, the floor had a lot too. Things were more for comfort than looking pretty in here, but the room looked nice, nonetheless.

Again, things were mostly in the colours green, grey, and greyish blue. And things did look expensive, but not as much as in the other room. Most of the interior was made of wood, and in the corner, there was a massive blue bean bag, which was almost covered in pillows, plushies, and a soft looking blanket. On the walls, there were hanging pictures and portraits, and even clip outs from different magazines. The only wall that Virgil knew that hadn't been painted on was the one with the bookshelf, filled with old and new books of all different kinds of  genres.

Virgil went over to the bookshelf first, and grabbed a book about some guy named "Percy Jackson", and then walked over to the bean bag, and flopped on it, face down. He immediately sunk down into its comfort and softness. He took the blanket, and threw it over himself, before he turned to lay on his back. He opened the book, and began to read.

It was the average teen book. Some guy or girl finds out they have powers, and go on some quest thingy, and poof, they're apparently a part of something big, and people are counting on them. But, even though, Virgil couldn't deny that it was kind of a good book. Even if they had several of the Gods' personalities extremely wrong.

Virgil couldn't keep himself from laughing a bit once Ares was introduced. It was an almost perfect portrayal of him, and he loved it. He also did like some of the characters. The Percy guy was alright, but the most memorable thing about him was his sass. And then there was Annabeth. She was also fine, but a bit of the usual "I'm smart but in love with an absolute fucking dumbass" stereotype, which was kind of annoying. Because Virgil could practically smell the pairing of her and Percy from the start of the book, and it annoyed him.
