Roman looked nervously at Logan, hoping that he wasn't too angry. He had no idea what he did wrong, but he was pretty sure it had something to do with Virgil.

Logan fixed his glasses. "Roman, who was that?" He demanded, and Roman quickly grew even more nervous. "That was Virgil." He answered, and Logan nodded, even if he didn't seem satisfied with the answer.

"And why did you kiss him?" He asked, and Roman couldn't help but blush slightly at the question, because it reminded him of the feeling of Virgil's soft lips on his. He quickly willed it away though, as he knew that Logan probably wouldn't like it if he stayed quiet for too long, which he probably would if he began thinking about Virgil.

"Marlene's lips were coated in love potion. A kiss from another nullifies the effect of it." He said, hoping that Logan would understand, but instead of that he asked a question that made Roman a bit angry, and annoyed. Well, maybe a lot, since it was what Roman would now think of as an idiotic statement, while he would probably have asked the same three days ago. "Well, why bother? He is just a vampire after all."

Roman crossed his arms, looking defensive now. After getting to know Virgil, Roman knew that vampire were much more than brainless predators, like he had previously thought of them as. And that Logan probably still did think of them as, but with how much his view on the undead had changed, the remark just pissed him off a bit. "Because he literally risked his freedom to get you two back."

Logan looked a bit taken aback at that, but not for long. He was about to say something more, but Roman broke him off. "Besides, he is so much more than just a vampire. He saved my life too! He has feelings, and is good company. He's nice, and forgiving. And, he's a great father too!" Roman ranted on, just wanting Logan to understand, even if he knew that it was hard to change his views on things.

Logan got into a more defensive position too. "Roman, Beatrice was taken by vampires, like him! How can you-" Logan was once more broken off by Roman, who was not going to let Logan use his younger sister as a point in their argument. He didn't know what even made Logan think that it was a good idea, since Logan knew that Beatrice was a sore subject for Roman.

"I know that, Logan! I know that better than anyone! So don't you dare even bring her up in this discussion. She was my sister, and therefore I hold grudges towards those who took her away! But Virgil didn't do anything wrong! He's been nothing but nice to me!" Roman said, a bit loudly, and angrily. He was getting rather worked up over what Logan was saying, since he thought of it as straight up offensive. He stood up straighter, and put on a cold expression, that made him look rather intimidating.

Logan was about to splutter something, when Roman broke him off for a third time. "Enough, Logan. Just get in the car."  He said, unintentionally using his Noble voice, because he was feeling kind of overwhelmed with the situation. How on earth could Logan say that? And who would ever think that bringing someone else's dead sister up in an argument was a good idea? Logan had never done that before, so why now, of all times? And what did he even have against Virgil?

He sighed, and shook his head, looking down into the ground, kind of ashamed of himself for using his Noble voice. Yes, it did work, but he did it on Logan, who had also tolerated him for years, and had been his loyal friend for what felt like forever.

When Roman looked back up, Logan had gotten into the car, and Patton was staring at him, looking scared. "H-how did you?" He croaked out, and Roman just shook his head. "I'll explain later, Padre. Just get in the car."

Guilt filled Roman even more, as Patton went inside the car. roman waited a few moments, to calm down, before he went inside too.

(Ok, so this was kinda short, but I just wanted to get it out there, since i thought it was important to have the argument done before they got into the car.)
