Wow, I did not at all expect so many people to sign up for the BA so soon. I wonder how this'll by tomorrow. Anyways, I have an announcement for the members of the army.

You will all receive your package of digital hugs in approximately a week, there are ten in each package. They can be used at any time. You have the choice to buy a weekly subscription, for the price of one digital hug for each package.

Roman sighed at that, and decided to just keep on petting Chie, and Hermes, who had placed his head on Roman's shoulder. He really wanted to know what had just happened to Virgil, but also didn't want to piss him off further, so he just dropped it.

The rest of the drive to Patton and Logan's house was in a tension filled silence, where Roman had to endure Logan's disapproving glances, each time he tried to take Virgil's hand in his own again. Roman didn't want to irritate his friend further, so soon he just gave up on it.

He didn't understand what Logan had against Virgil, or just vampires in that matter. He had felt mostly the same way about them, but meeting Virgil, and a few others had completely changed how he thought of vampires.

But Logan had always been stubborn, and it was always hard to get him to change his view on certain things. It was just really annoying Roman that he apparently had to pick either his friends, or Virgil, who was also his friend. He didn't understand any of it at all, and just wanted Logan to accept the fact that he had gotten over his grudges.

And from what Roman knew, Logan had never had anything like the traumatic experience with vampires that he had, before Marlene. So, technically, it would make the most sense for ROman to be the one who completely despised vampires.

But he didn't, at least, not anymore. He had met someone who had gotten him to change his mind, and for the better too, and if Virgil had had such an effect on Roman, why not Logan too?

Roman shook his head with a sigh, trying to clear out his thoughts. He didn't need them at the moment, since they only brought his mood further down, and he didn't want that to happen.

He decided to just try and focus on the magical creatures that he was currently petting, and smiled softly when Chie sneezed, as it was an absolutely adorable sight.

When the car finally stopped in front of Logan and Patton's house, they both got out of the car. Logan looked expectantly at Roman, who just silently shook his head. He didn't want to get another scolding, or worse, and he felt like he needed to talk to Virgil about something, that had been at the back of his mind for some time now, and just now resurfaced.

Logan shut the car door at that, a bit angrily, Roman noted, which just made him feel bad for staying in the car. But, he did really want to talk to Virgil. "Are you going home with me, or to your home?" Virgil asked, and Roman thought about it for a third time. "With you, if it's alright." He answered, and Brutus nodded.

The car began to drive again, but not towards the forest. Instead, it drove into the city, which confused Roman a bit. Why the city, if Virgil's mansion was in the woods?

Brutus soon parked the car in front of a kind of tall building, in a neighborhood, wherein it would cost a lot of money to rent a home.

Roman looked curiously at the building, wondering why they were there, instead of in the forest. Virgil didn't let him wonder for long, since he got out of the car, and gestured for Roman to do the same. The only pet that followed them out was Chie, now on Roman's shoulder.

Virgil led him inside the building, and over to an elevator, that Roman was rather glad was there. If where they were going was high up, then there would be a lot of stairs to climb, and not enough time, for Roman.

Virgil went over to the elevator, and Roman followed, looking around. Surprisingly, none of the two normal humans that were already there seemed to be scared of Virgil at all. They just waved slightly to him as he passed, and he gave them a small wave back. Maybe Roman had been wrong about once thinking that all people were scared of vampires?

Yeah, he probably was. They were just people, with a bit more strength and a few abilities. It was certain individual vampires that one should be scared of, not vampires as a whole.

When Virgil pressed the button to go up, Roman blinked. He didn't remember going into the lift, but that was probably because of the fact that he had been deep in thought.

Roman decided to just let it go, but letting go of the fact that you had been wrong about something for most of your life can get hard. But Roman was getting better at letting go, so this came easier to him.

He petted Chie while the lift moved upwards, towards the highest floor. He began to wonder where Virgil got the money he lived off from, since he did seem to be rich.

He didn't have a long time to wonder about that, as the lift came to a stop soon enough. As soon as Roman stepped out, he was practically awestruck. There were windows that let one look out over the city, and the view was absolutely beautiful, and this was only the hall.

Roman couldn't wait to see Virgil's apartment, and happily walked behind him, as he walked through the hall, to get to a door.

Virgil took a golden key out of his pocket, and used it to open the door, which swung open quietly. The inside was dark. Virgil gestured for Roman to enter, and of course he did so.
