When Virgil opened the door into his apartment, the first thing he did was turn on the lights. After all, Roman couldn't see in the dark, so it would only be polite to do so. He took a quick glance around the apartment, to check if anything was out of place, signalling that somebody had broken in. When he didn't see anything weird, he entered his apartment, standing in the entrance.

Roman came in from behind him, looking around, seeming amazed by the expensive furniture, and the intruments hanging on the walls. There were violins, guitars, flutes, and intruments which had lost their names in the endless forgetfulness of time. And in the corner of the living room was a piano. There were bookshelves lining two of the walls, filled with books, both new and old, some even diaries written by Virgil's old friends, or logs from ships, that Virgil had gotten for way too little in the older times.

Virgil lead Roman into the living room, which held all this, along with a black leather couch in the middle, and a rather big TV. It was clear that Virgil was used to living in luxury by now, with how the room was furnished, and how big it was for an apartment in the rich part of town.

Virgil offered Roman to sit down on the couch, which he accepted. When he sat down, Vixen moved into his lap, and he began petting her, much to her delight. Virgil noticed that her third tail had gotten a bit bigger lately, and the fourth had slowly began growing, which delighted him.

He sat himself down beside Roman, who seemed a bit flustered already, confusing Virgil slightly. But he didn't ask, and just waited for Roman to begin to explain himself. The human male soon took a deep breath, and looked Virgil as close to the eyes he could, without looking into them, which Virgil didn't mind.

"So, the kiss..." He started out, making Virgil slightly perk up. He had a faint idea that it wasn't about anything bad, judging by the red that had already began to spread across Roman's cheeks. Virgil nodded slightly, and gestured for Roman to go on.

"I enjoyed it... A lot..." Roman finished, with a small sigh, the blush much more prominent now that he had spoken his mind. The last part was mumbled, and barely heareable, but the enhanced senses Virgil got from being an advanced predator, let him hear it clearly. If he could still blush, he probably would have a little, but that ability had been lost i the fourth century, where he lost his head for the first time.

Virgil smiled a bit, and scooted a little bit closer to Roman. "Would you like another, then?" He asked, taking one of Roman's hands, and making him redder than a tomato. He nodded shyly, making Virgil smile a bit wider.

He cupped Roman's cheek with his free hand, and brought their lips gently together. It was much different from the desperate kiss they had shared before, where Virgil had been in a small daze because of the potion, and therefore unable to fully feel it. Now, he was completely sober, and was very well aware that it was very nice kissing Roman.

This kiss was sweet, and gentle, and Roman's lips tasted a bit of caramel, which Virgil enjoyed a lot. He didn't know how they tasted of caramel, since Roman hadn't had any in days, but he didn't mind, just enjying the flavour of the other's soft lips.

When they finally pulled away, it was so Roman could breathe. Virgil was practically breathless. It had been an amazing kiss for him, and he had enjoyed it thoroughly. Roman looked flustered, slightly scared for some reason that Virgil couldn't quite comprehend, and also amazed. He looked at that spot close to Virgil's eyes again, and softly whispered, "that was amazing."

Virgil nodded in agreement. "It was. It definitely was." He said back, smiling a bit more widely than he usually did. Virgil took Roman's free hand in his own cold one, and began drawing small hearts on both hands, with his fingers. "If you would like, those kisses could become the norm." He offered, hoping for a yes.

Roman hestitated, and after a bit, took his hands away from Virgil's. "I would love to, but what would Logan say..? Or my parents? I don't want them to dislike me..." He mumbled, looking rather unsure, and conflicted. Virgil sighed a bit. He had dealt with people with such conflictions before, but it never ceased to annoy him that some people just wouldn't accept somebody loving a vampire.

"Let me answer that with a question. What is their opinion on interracial marriage?" Virgil said, knowing that was one way to explain it to people. Roman thought about it for a moment, before he answered. "They completely support it, I think... At least, it's that way for Logan, he's mixed race.." Virgil nodded a bit. "And gay marriage?" Roman didn't need to think about it before he answered that question. "They completely support that too..."

Virgil nodded a bit. "Then technically, there should be no problems. But since it seems that Logan has a problem with steroetyping vampires, because he doesn't know anything about us, other than what he's heard and experienced, and I would assume your parents has that problem too, then what they need is a proper talking to."

Roman peered curiously at Virgil, a bit like he had come up with a crazy idea, but it might actually work. "It might work, for Logan. Probably not for my parents..." He said, sending a thought towards the people who had raised him. VIrgil raised an eyebrow. "Really? Why not?"

"My little sister Beatrice was taken by vampires..." Roman admitted, petting Chie again, when she had begun nuzzling into him, to hopefully lighting his mood. Virgil nodded slightly, before he realised something.

"Wait, Beatrice? As in Beatrice Kingsley?" He asked incredulously. Roman nodded a bit. "Yes, that was her- wait, why are you laughing!?"

And Virgil was laughing. A surprising lot, actually. When he calmed down after a few seconds, Roman was staring at him. "Sorry, sorry. It's just... I understand hating something that took a member of your family away, but hating it because it took them away to a better life, which made them rather happy, and made them what took them, might not be something to hate." He explained, leading to Roman still staring at him, but this time with wide eyes, and a surprised expression.

"What!?"

Sorry for not being on! I accidentally burned myself out, and got to the point where I was procrastinating a lot, so I took a small break, which proved to do me good. I'll post a list of BA on my profile later, but right now I'll just read Artemis Fowl for the third time, while listening to the Burlesque soundtrack.
