What would you do if you discovered you are a witch? That is a question that eleven year old Olivia Hawthorne is faced with as a woman clad in green robes appears at the door of the flat she and her father live in, introducing herself as Professor M...

On that particular morning the Weasley family and their guests had woken up early to prepare themselves for the day ahead, which both Molly and Arthur suspected would be quite a hectic one as they had three kids more than usual with them on their trip to Diagon Alley. Even Olivia had accepted her fate of less sleeping hours, both she and Gwen choosing to help Molly in the morning so the woman wouldn't have to feel too much stress.
Fortunately, it wasn't an unplanned morning. Both the Weasleys and their guests had to go do their shopping for the school supplies they would need for the upcoming year. And so once all of the family had woken up and had breakfast, the group could be seen as they all made their way to the Leaky Cauldron, planning a small sit down before getting to business. Especially as Gwen had some errands to run before she herself could start her shopping.
Olivia and Ron continued on with their conversation about their previous Wizard's Chess game. It had taken place only a few nights ago, so discussions of tactics and outcomes were still a hot topic. And, of course, here and there they'd mention the classes which they've decided to take in the upcoming year. Although, that mostly started with Ron toying with the idea of Hogwarts needing a chess class.
Things got even better when, along the way, they were able to catch Hermione's parents dropping her off at the Inn where they had all agreed to meet. From the moment the trio of students reunited, they started catching up on their summers. While it mostly consisted of talking in person about what they had spoken of already in their letters, the three still spoke excitedly, happy to finally be reunited properly. However, Ron wasn't too happy as he continued to complain about the newest 'beast' in their presence whenever he wasn't talking about the Weasley's trip to Egypt. It seemed that Hermione's adorable ball of fluff, called Crookshanks, had already taken a disliking towards Scabbers.
"How did Mrs. Weasley take your hair? I really like it, by the way, it really suits you." Hermione said after gently pulling away one of the pink strands in Olivia's hair. They were all now sitting at one of the main tables in the dining area of the Leaky Cauldron, Hermione and Olivia sitting side by side, while Ron occupied the space across the table.
"Oh you should have seen mum, she was livid. Not in front of Olivia, of course, but she almost had Fred and George's head." Ron chipped in and answered the question instead of the Hufflepuff, a laugh following his words as the memory replayed in his mind.
"What, she got mad?!" Olivia asked in surprise, especially because she didn't get why this would be funny. She had even made sure to gently reveal the change to Molly, soothing her into the story of how it happened. She didn't want the twins, and maybe even Oli, to get in trouble for it.
"She does get easily mad at Oliver and the twins, although she doesn't take it out on Oli. Don't worry, I bet she's used to it by now, and it does look really good." Ron said to the ginger with a reassuring voice. He didn't want Olivia to feel guilty about something that wasn't in her control, the family was used to the bursts that came from the mother, especially the ones directed at the twins.
