I stood in the open doorway, waiting for your arrival; you wanted to tell me something important. I stood and waited until you came, my heart ached with love but it all disappears once you got out of that red car and clinging to you is another girl.

My heart skipped a beat, thoughts and questions spun in my head...

Didn't you say forever? Didn't you say that we will be together forever no matter what happened? Didn't you say we are 2 pieces of a whole? Didn't...you...say...you...will...stay with ...me...no...matter...what??

My knees gave way; I fell slowly down to the ground, my heart screaming as realisation cuts lines into my heart and soul. Squeezing the half shaped heart that you gave me on our anniversary, a wave of emotion came over me. It gave me security of the good times as the pain worsens; I heard his strong footsteps as well as the girl's light ones came closer to me...

I wanted to run, run far from here; I didn't want to hear what his words were

'I...I'm sorry, but I love her more, I want to be your best friend, I still want you here, you are what I want'

I wanted to scream at him, but my voice was calm and venomous

'If you want me, then why her? Why turn on your word to be with her?'

Then something hit me in my heart, why is she here? Is she here to see my pain? To see me suffer from what she took from me?

 I heard his footsteps past me, which lead to another question; is he going to leave me here, in this state of being broken hearted?

The girl's footsteps came closer to me, her voice in my ear;

'You lose pretty girl,everything has failed you, he is mine now and forever'

She laughed as a tear escaped from my eyes and crashed down to the ground and as it did so did a flow like streams ran down my cheeks and crashed like waterfall to a small puddle in front of me.

My mind wanted to exploded, I didn't want them to see me this way, all weak and broken, but she was there laughing at me and where is he? Is he there in the distance laughing at me also? I wanted to hurt them both, and I wanted everything to kill them...

Whispers came from the left which torn me out of my anger, my pain, and slowly footsteps and a car screeching away, but I felt a presents near me but I didn't dare look in case my face showed the pain nor did I want to see the sunlight, the happiness was killing me deep inside and slowly out.

Movement came towards me and a familiar smell drifted, my heart ached, I squeezed my eyes shut and leaned against the frame of the door, the person I knew sat down and slowly pulled me towards him in a tight hug.

'Why are you still here?'

'Why can't I be here?'

He got me, I tried my hardest to pull away from him and run for it, but he held me tightly;

'I'm not going to leave you in this state' he whispered quietly

'Just leave me...she is the one you are with...make her happy!' I screamed and more and more tears fell, I tried to pull away but it was useless, he held my tightly and pulled me closer to him, I sat hopelessly crying my heart out
