Harper's POV:

"Surprise!!" My eyes widened at what I saw when we opened Thalia's door to see way more than I was expecting.

Standing in Thalia's house was my mum, dad, older sister Olivia, younger brother Jacob and younger sister Jasmin as well as Isaac and Mario, Gracie, Tyler, Jason and Amie.

"Holy shit!" I exclaimed after coming out of the state of shock I was in. My 10 year old sister ran up to me and tackled me into a hug, followed by the rest of my family.

I had obviously seen them at Christmas but a lot had happened since them and I felt overcome with emotions from seeing them again.

I was pulled away from Thalia by my family as we all greeted each other.

"Still ugly I see." My 13 year old brother commented, them screeched and hit me when I tried to smother him with hugs since I knew he hated them.

"Hey Happy." Olivia greeted and gave me one of her famous hugs.

My mum and dad practically crushed my bones and my dad began poking at me, and telling me how hot Thalia was in his strong Birkenhead accent.

We were an hour into the party when I managed to 'get away' from my family, Jacob and Jasmin were chasing each other outside which would definitely tire them out along with jetlag.

"There she is, the woman of the hour." Jason shouted as I went up to him, Amie and Mario as everyone else mingled and got to know each other.

I curtseyed with an eye roll as I approached them. "I can't believe you kept this secret, good for you guys!" I told my best friends.

"Yeah well I had to pinch this boy every two minutes since he kept almost telling." Amie said with a giggle, making Jason shrug.

"My sister was so stressed out planning this. She was so worried something would go wrong or you'd find out somehow."

"Talking about me there Rio?" I felt my girlfriends arms wrap around my waist and turned my head so I could place a quick kiss on her lips.

"He was just saying how much work you went through to do all of this. And I am so thankful for you because this is the best birthday I could ever ask for."

She leaned in to kiss me again and we heard playful gags from our friends, making us flip them up as we pulled away.

"I was going to ask you to formally introduce me to your parents." My girlfriend said, making my smile grow even wider at the fact we were happily together and at this point of our relationship.

"Sure, love."

I held her hand and we walked up to my parents as my dad and Isaac were play fighting, as they do.

"Oi. You'd better not break anything." I said, making them separate and Isaac walk into Tyler's direction. "Guys this is my girlfriend Thalia, as you know. Thalia this is my mum Carla, and dad Jamie."

"It's so nice to finally meet you." My girlfriend said, she put her hand put but my mum hugged her which was shortly followed with a friendly shoulder pat from my dad.

"It's lovely to finally meet the famous Thalia." My dad said, making me blush.

"Famous huh?" She replied, turning to me with a smug look on her face.

"I have no idea what you're talking about." I claimed.

"Sure you do, Happs. She all you spoke about during Christmas, you kept saying h-"

"Okay, that's enough." I interrupted, growing red as the others chuckled at me.

"Harper, do you think I could talk to Thalia privately?" My mum asked me, as well as hinting at my dad to go and check my younger siblings hadn't killed each other in Thalia's back yard.
