Harper's POV:

The following Monday began the last week of senior year which I was incredibly grateful for.

Who knew deciding to do a single year of school in Florida could lead to so much drama.

I rolled out of my bed, still groaning at the alarm that I hadn't gotten used to despite it waking me up throughout the whole school year. Thalia and I always fell asleep on the phone with one another whenever we were sort for the night so I hung up, knowing she was still asleep and checked social media before actually preparing myself for the day.

I threw on some baggy jeans and an oversized Tupac t-shirt since I wasn't in the mood for dressing up.

Once I packed my school bag, I made my way downstairs to grab food and a bottle of water to have as breakfast on the way to school.

When I got down the stairs, I saw my brother closing the door to our apartment.

"You good there Isaac?"

He spun around as if I'd scared the life out of him and his hand clutched his chest. "Jesus, you scared me you twat."

"Calm down mate. Why were you shutting the door anyway?" I asked as I rummaged around the fridge for fruit.

"I- Uh. Well-" He began stuttering and as I shut the fridge door he brought his hand up to run it through his messy hair.

My eyebrows raised to hurry him up in his mysterious story telling, to which he groaned in response.

"I had someone over! Okay?" He snapped before storming off like a prepubescent teenager.

"Someone's got a stick up their arse today." I mumbled to myself as I left the apartment to be picked up by Jason.

I got to school and it felt kind of empty, seniors classroom's had boxes in that were gradually being filled with random accessories from each classroom.

"How weird is this guys." Jason began, catching Amie and I's attention as we walked towards our homeroom. "This Saturday we're graduating. Like what the fuck." He stopped walking for a second as if he was in shock, making Amie and I chuckle and drag him through the bustling hall.

"Yeah it is weird. It's been such a long year but it's also gone kinda quickly."

I nodded in agreement and was about to add on to my friend's point before I saw 2 people approaching me.

"Hey guys." Raven said quietly. I had noticed she'd been a little off recently but I assumed it was just because she still felt guilty about what her father did.

She nudged her brother who stood to the side of her, his hands buried in his pockets. "Hey."

Jason stepped up slightly since Josh wasn't exactly on best terms with any of us and we weren't sure on what was going on.

"Can we talk to you for a second Harper?" Raven asked.

The bell went as Jason was about to speak so I turned and told him and Amie it was okay and to go off to homeroom.

A minute or so later, Josh, Raven and I were sat around a table in the yard outside. Me on one side and the twins on the other.

They looked pretty uncomfortable so I broke the silence. "So what's up?"

I saw my friend look at her brother with raised eyebrows which seemed to usher him on.

"I wanted to apologise." He said in a surprisingly confident voice.
