Okay, this story now has 1.1k reads which is really weird to me. I'm so grateful though! I think there's only around 5 more chapters left of this story but I already have a few drafts of a non txs story, as well as ideas for a sequel.
I know 1.1k might not sound like a lot to some people but this really started off because the ideas were in my head and I wanted to write them down but I'm enjoying writing this, and receiving the feedback.
Anyway, thank you again. Here's chapter 35!
Isaac's POV:
I woke up to my boyfriend's soft snoring on the other side of my bed. I chuckled at the fact that he always insisted we cuddled but then ended up rolling away from me in the night.
This was my first gay relationship, so we were taking it slow. Really slow. Which I thought would be annoying for him but he was so understanding and sweet.
This is the first guy I even had a proper crush on. When I first saw him I was so intrigued, I had never seen anyone like him before yet I loved the sight before me. We got to know each other briefly but I wanted to know him more personally so I invited him over once when Harper was staying the night at Thalia's.
We ate takeaway food and it was a proper date. My feelings were confusing the fuck out of me so I kissed him at the end of the night to determine my emotions. Since then we've been working our way into a relationship.
I was so appreciative of how good he was at communicating about things I would usually shy away from. Granted he was a few years older so he had more experience under his belt, but I knew I felt really comfortable around him and was beginning to really care about him.
"How long have you been awake and staring at me?" I heard him mumble before clearing his throat.
"I wasn't staring at you." I lied, then shuffled over to lay down closer to him.
"You definitely were."
"I was thinking of ways to stop your snoring."
His eyes widened at the smirk I had on my face and in one swift movement he took the pillow from under my head and hit me with it.
"I don't snore!"
"You do, babe. It's cute though." I shouted over him. He kept hitting me with the fucking pillow so I used the strength I knew I could muster up to take it off him and lean over him, holding his wrists above his head. I leant down and kissed his nose.
"You're so sappy." He giggled.
"No."
"Yep." He said, popping the 'p'. "You kissed my nose. You're not really the tough scouser you make out to be are you."
"Fine." I gave in with an eye roll. "But you'd better not tell anyone, I can't lose my street cred."
"Oh of course. What are you up to today?" He asked.
I sat up to lean against the headboard, my hand went to his hear to play with the short, brown curls of hair. "Taking the siblings to the beach, I'm pretty sure Jason and Amie are joining us too."
"Harper's not going?"
"Nah."
"Oh... She probably had a long night." He said with a chuckle.
I made a gag noise in response which only made him torment me even more. "Lad, I do not wanna know about me sister's sex life if you don't mind."
Soon enough, I joined in with his laughter and once we settled there was a comfortable silence in the air.
