Between Heaven and Earth
Is where the sky meets the sea
In solitude and solace
Beneath the willow treeIn spite of time
The ashes, they fall
Like a ripple effect of
Ink on paper
It begins when I'm goneJust like sandalwood
In a winter valley
The world stops
Short of the ground
And I know what's comingSomething to say
A whisper in my ear
Now begins the eclipse
I'll be right hereFrom dusk till dawn
I'm never alone
You keep me up
Voices ringing like a telephoneHour after midnight
Still thinking about you
Don't know how to stop it
But it'll bleed throughIn spite of time
My pace is slow
As I count the steps
That take me home
