"Where has my little girl gone?"
You ask
"She died" I reply,Somewhere between all the pressure
to replace the father she barely knew
as her emotional supportAnd a land where you would hate her
for the way a god you claim to follow made her
She cracked, she crumbled and she fell
until she was nothing but a hollow shellThat's what you wanted wasn't it?
A doll, a puppet
To do as you say
To never question your order
because you were her elder and demanded respectBut where was the respect afforded her?
Where on your god's earth was the right to live?
To laugh?
To love?
That you so proudly claimed for yourself
but would silence
if you knew the way she livedThe way she laughed
The way she loved
You demanded respect but when she demanded it back
you would fire bullets
meant to demean and degrade"Where has my little girl gone?" You ask?
She burned in a flurry of emotions too deep and dark
that you didn't even know she felt them
nor did you careBut now I have
risen from her ashes
A brilliant light that you're too blinded to see
I am not yours
I have never beenTo claim ownership over a flame
Like me
Is to invite chaos and destructionI will not fallow the orders you spout to control me
I will not be dragged through the dirt to give you a sense of superiorityI am a fire
I burn bright and you will not drown my flame
I will no longer let you"Where has my little girl gone?" you ask
And I turn away
"I've always been here"(A/N Sorry Fali, I was totally listening but like... I had an idea soooo...)
