Chapter 3: The Labyrinth of Memories

The sun was shining through the windows as a pink-haired male stirred slightly from the light hitting his eyes.

He moved around for a bit, trying to escape the light to no avail. In the end, he merely sighed before he decided that it was time to stand up.

Getting up from his bed, Nqrse headed into the bathroom where he first washed his face before putting on his uniform and brushing his hair.

He then walked back into his room where he sat in front of his mirror, applying some makeup on his face. Taking a last look at himself, Nqrse hummed satisfied before he stood up and headed out of the room, down to the dining hall, meeting a light-haired male on the way there.

"Ah, good morning, Nqrse-san.", the tall male greeted him as the shorter male flashed him a grin in response. "Morning, Luz~ Wanna eat together again?", the pink-haired male asked as Luz smiled softly and nodded. "I'd be honored to."

With that, the two of them walked to the dining hall together where they were eating there breakfast on a table for two together.

The others were already eating and some had already finished and left the dining hall. But neither Nqrse nor Luz let that pressure them as they took their time and talked with one another while having their breakfast.

After finishing, the two of them put their plates away before they headed to the courtyard together where Oz would be waiting for them.

Stepping out of the building, Oz noticed them as he gave them a smile and waved at them as a greeting which Luz and Nqrse returned.

"Alright~ Looks like everyone is here then~ With that, I can announce Level 2 to you~", Oz said as he snapped his fingers, the rules appearing behind him again.

"Level 2: Labyrinth of Memories. The rules are simple~ Each of you will be put at a random point in a labyrinth and you have to try and get out of it! To get out, you will have to find a way out obviously~ Thing is that sometimes, you can't avoid dead ends~

In this game, there will be tons of dead ends~ You can't avoid them and sometimes, there is no other way out. So what you have to do is to get through the walls marked with an X! The walls marked with that signal you that you have to go though it!

And the only way to go through it, is to answer a question truthfully! You have to answer the truth or it won't let you pass through~ Goal is to get out of the labyrinth as fast as you can~ That's all! Any questions?", Oz asked as he looked around in the group who merely stayed silent.

"Great~", Oz chirped as he snapped his fingers.

And with that, the scenery changed again as everyone got scattered around the labyrinth at random points with Oz sitting on a chair above them.

"Then I'd say... Game start~"

"Alright... I have no idea how there is a way to get out of a labyrinth fast...", Soraru said to himself sighing. "But if it's just a structure like this, I should be able to get out as long as I follow the right side of the wall...", the raven-haired male said as he put his hand on the right wall.

"Not a good strategy but at least something... Well, here goes nothing.", Soraru said before he ran as fast as he could, making sure his hand would never leave the right wall.

"Someone is really eager to get out.", Kashitaro said chuckling to himself before he looked around himself, wondering how he would get out. "Well, I wonder how to find a way out of here. I got lost in my own home town... How will I be able to get out of a complicated labyrinth like this...? Ah."
