For the second time, Star and Anders got lost in an island.
As Star woke up, she saw Anders with bruises. She shouted and cried for help but no one heard her.
She then tried to wake Anders up while crying.
"Please, wake up. Don't do this to me," she pled.
She then tried to carry Anders but realized she can't do it.
Star felt helpless, it's getting dark and it's obvious that they are in a remote place.
She then put her head on Anders' chest to feel if he's still breathing.
When she's sure he is, her tears roll on her cheeks.
Anders felt the liquid that fell on his shirt.
He wanted to open his eyes but Star whispered something he really wanted to hear.
"I'm sorry. Please listen to me. I love you and I want to spend days with you. Please don't leave this way. Please be strong," Star admitted to Anders.
Though hurting because of his bruises, Anders felt relieved.
Star can't stop her tears from falling. Anders at least moved her finger to show that he is still alive. Then he slowly opened his eyes and called Star's name.
Star immediately looked at him on his face.
She momentarily stopped crying but still she can't hold back her tears from falling.
"Don't cry," Anders told her.
"Promise me that you won't leave me."
"I promise," Anders told her.
Star stopped crying and hugged Anders.
Although feeling weak, Anders tried to stand up. Star helped her.
They were able to find a fine cottage. They have no choice but to check if they could stay there.
To Star's surprise, they met the old woman who owns the cottage. She was packing her things as they call if someone is inside the cottage.
"Why are you here? Who are you?" the cottage owner asked.
Star is about to say something but the owner suddenly saw the bruises they have worse to Anders.
"Why? What's the matter? What happened?"she asked with panic and helped them to get inside the cottage.
The old woman immediately took her first aid kit and started to treat Anders' wounds.
After Anders, it's Star's turn.
While the old woman is putting bandages to her wounds, her tears slowly dropped on the old woman's hand.
The old woman rose her head to look where the tears came from. She saw Star crying endlessly.
The old woman don't know how to comfort her so she just kept staring at her.
Just after a wink of her eye, Star hugged her tightly with continuosly flow of tears.
"Mom," Star voiced out.
The old woman tapped her shoulder to comfort her.
"It's okay, you'll be okay," the old woman said while tapping her shoulder carefully.
Star missed her mom Risette Deroche. She missed her so much.
Although Star forgot to cry because she was so upset about what happened to her mom Risette, finally she cried again, which means she is getting better. She started to live in reality and can already accept reality.
On the other hand, Fori was very busy with her work as a psychiatrist when one of her friends told her to visit one patient.
Never did she imagine that it was her Mmy who was there and her Tante Aurore.
"Mmy?...Tante?..." she said with disbelief then her tears flow like a river.
Aurore can no longer hide. Risette was like a blank. She was looking at Fori bit seems there's no Fori in front of her.
"Mmy..." Fori told her and run to hug her but Risette told her something that she didn't expect to hear although she had been thinking before.
"Where's my son and my daughter?"
"They were in ..."
"Fori, not them. But your cousins. Your real cousins."
Fori was shocked.
She looked at her Tante Aurore as if asking hundreds of questions.
Then another psychiatrist came inside the room.
Fori went out. She is happy that her Mmy is still alive but she is so sorry to what had happened. She wanted her Mmy to feel at ease but how could she think that way if she knew and confirmed there's really something wrong.
She went at the rooftop to cry. She cried and cried until she has no more tears to cry.
While she's on her way back to her office, Tante Aurore requested a talk with her. She agreed. They talked at the rooftop.
"I'm sorry," they both said with each other.
"I did it because Risette told me to do it. She can't take to see you feeling the burden of taking care of her."
"Tante, were you burdened taking care of me when I was there?"
"Of course not," Tante Aurore quickly replied.
"If not then let me take care of Mmy. I won't be burdened to take care of her."
"She's not always that way. I mean she's sometimes okay, but more times that she's not. And everytime she's feeling okay, she will only tell me not to let you know about her."
"Star should know about this."
"No, enough that you know. Let her live her life. We already took her life for how many years to be your cousin it's time for her to live her life."
"Tante, if Star knew about Mmy and she didn't tell about it to me, I would probably hate her. I don't want her to hate me so I will tell her about this."
"Fori, don't hurt your Mmy more than she's hurting. Once she see Star and Anders again, she would feel being betrayed. Let them live the way they should live."
At the cottage where Star and Anders stayed, the old woman promised to stay with them until Anders will get better so Star could rest.
The old woman kept an eye for Anders and Star.
She felt pity to how Star reacted.
Before the sun rises in the morning, the old woman was no longer there. She decided to proceed on her prior plan.
As Star woke up, she saw none but Anders seated staring to a very far place.
