Chapter Three

Interrogation

From a private plane the guys from D.C traveled to their base to continue the interrogation from the Barry girl they found hiding behind the book case. If she imposes a great threat like her father there are no discussion with her faith. The death will come and Chasen volunteered to do the deeds. Her father trying to exterminate him in the middle of a by bust operation was something he can't allow. He knew grudge of a family member can be lethal so he won't take any chances that the Barry girl will entail.

Her father Mr. Oswald Barry was identified by an image matcher and biometric scanner as investigators tried to know further the man lying on the floor with his wife, both already dead. They found out his background from a documents coming from his former commander in the Navy. He was a Petty officer of the ship Miranda which was assigned in Siberia for two years and abandoned when it was infiltrated with terrorists. According to the report from the former commander, Mr. Barry was reported captured and tortured to death by delinquent name, Azir Drakovo, a man known who continues to evoke killing people specially the Americans. In fact as Chasen read the report, Azir had a son who looks at his father as an artist for inducing such sensational war. Azib Drakovo was the hit man who ordered an assassin to neutralize the President of the United State and Chasen Fritzcole himself.

So it comes down to the father and son static as far as Chasen is concern and the Barry girl who was place in the interrogating room where no one will hear her screaming if he won't get satisfying information coming from her. This is a safe house away from attorney and all sort of public defender. No citizen of America knew this place except the people from D.C and the FBI's. This place is where they put every dangerous people who won't budge singing what they knew that threatens national security or even the resident of the country. All kinds of human traffickers, drug lords and terrorist are especially the guests here. And no one will find out if they will get out alive and see a fair trial. They will of course if they divulge important information that can benefit the authorities. Other than that and it will be down to slow and painful way to exit the world he/she knew.

He marches towards the place where the one meter thick walls and a foot thick glass were waiting for him. The girl was there, waiting for her faith. They never gave her any food upon arrival, not even water. She was weak from the punch she receives and weak from the starvation the people in charge was doing. The knob of the room turned and came in the man who gave her a warm up for what's waiting for her.

He was tall, beefy and fierce. Everyone who sees him this unfriendly should flinch and run for their life, but not her. She hadn't had any choice. He might yank her easily and throw her against the wall if she ever tries escaping. The beating of her heart was so intense she was afraid it might throw out of her chest. She was shaking in fright as she waits for the confrontation to begin.

Chasen slams the documents on the table and it made her flinch severely. He watches her looking satisfied at what he had done. He sat on the chair across the table, facing her. He withdraws papers in the folder and spread it on the table.

"So Ms. Natalie Barry from Alaska, have you made your mind to tell everything your scum of a father told you?" he asks mildly. "Surely, you knew some information of what's going inside your house for the last years you spent there? Come on now, I will be friendly if you won't hide information from me. I just wanted to know who really mastermind for the kill. The order to kill me while I am in an operation. Your father cowardly took his chance and tried to put a bullet in my head –only thing is he missed. And now here you are in front of me and your parents rotting in your hometown."
